DXM products in the UK

I don't think DXM is that good of a high, it seemed to have not much effect on me except the cnstant feeling that I had been zoning out but not being able to recall if I had or not. K all the way as far as disassociatives go IMO!

yeah exactly buy some scales, grams will kill u dont take before u know exactly what and how much your taking its not worth the hospital trip and people will sell shit pretending to be the stuff u want so just watchout

I had dxm from that American site that got some of us into trouble. Only tried it once, not pleasant. I chucked the rest away.
 
Dex is probably worth trying, just because of its utter weirdness. You never know, you might be the sort of freak who likes it. ;)

You can get the American DexAlone capsules (30 mg each) from some online pharmacies. Be aware that they contain sorbitol, which might well give you the shits ...

One note of caution: some people are unable to produce an enzyme that metabolises DXM. Always start on a low dose (say, 90-100 mg) just to see if you can handle it. And don't combine it with MAOIs under any circumstances.

There are some pretty transcendent DXM trips logged on Erowid, but I've never been tempted to try higher doses. I've had one pleasant experience, a few indifferent ones, and a pretty bad one. I've decided I probably won't explore this drug any further, at least for the time being.
 
I thought DXM was supposed to be the active ingredient in that Benylin Dry Coughs Non-Drowsy? In Boots it lists the active ingredient as glycerin plus a bunch of other shit that certaintly is not Dextromethorphan hydrobromide.

Yeh it USED to contain it.. as did a good few others.. i have feeling its been changed within the last year due to abuse potential or the likes...
 
certain places sell it in pure form to the UK, obviously no sourcing, but I think its probably legal to do
 
there's loads of OTC cough syrups with DXM in i'm pretty sure benilyn still does as well no idea what public enemy is talking about...


just checked and yeah beniltn dry cough non drowsy, robitussin dry cough etc all still contain dxm and are all still OTC


edit: DelusionalLDN are you getting the stuff from behind the counter? they can't put dxm containing stuff on the shelves

Its called OTC (Over the counter) for a reason.


OTC will have DXM
OTS(On The Shelf) will not be medicated.

This is also the same For cold remedies with Psuedo via OTC and Phenylethamine on the OTS products.


DXM is a cough suppresent, so dry tickly is the thing and not chesty.

Anyhow DXM sucks.

tried pure at the weekend.. 400mgx 2 spaced between 4 hours apart...fucking loved it :) really impressed with it!
 
A certain supermarkets own brand £1.98 for 400mg worth.WAY better than Robitussin or any of the other available ones.More liquid than syrup.Easy to drink down in one.Totally legal for your cough needs.Its not DXM that gets you fucked its when its converted to DXO.To facilitate this drink a pint of grapefruit juice 30 mins or more prior,then watch and learn.Altered state and a half.The most fucked I've ever been.Only done this twice as it is a pretty extreme experience.No doubt if someone were to drink 2 bottles after the grapefruit juice they would meet God or the supreme rulers of the universe.8o
 
Yeah I was an idiot. I got a bottle of the Benalyn Chesty Coughs with DXM in it today from behind the counter. They also sold me some co-codamol at the same time (for different purposes) which I thought was kinda strange. ANYWAY: is this one bottle going to be enough for me to feel something? I'm OK and know what I'm doing with dirty street drugs but things like this I'm not 100%.
