I'm relatively inexperienced with dxm, first started a few months ago, probably done it under 15 times. I've only used nos when I've bought it online once before, months ago. I tried two boxes and it wasn't good enough to justify the cost. All I got was some audio flanging but no real high. Recently on holiday, I spotted some nos canisters in the supermarket so I bought two boxes.
I've had a very relaxing weekend, visiting places and people that I find bring me to earth and help put things in perspective.
I had the house to myself tonight so I dosed 4mg/kg of dxm for a nice 2nd plateau trip. This is where I like dxm the best, or maybe 4mg/kg two nights in a row for more intense visuals. While waiting for the dxm to kick in I went and bought some more tobacco. I found the nos cracker that I had made last time and made sure it would still work. I also still had the packet of balloons from last time!
I felt the dxm coming on after about an hour so I put some music on and came to browse Bluelight. After a while I felt the jittery and bouncy feeling I get on dxm and my vision was getting blurry. At approx t+90mins I cracked one nos canister into a balloon. I sat on my bed and exhaled all the air I could. As soon as I started inhaling the nos I could feel the effects. I don't get much flanging on dxm, usually just vision on the comeup, but the nos flanged vision somewhat and flanged audio to a point where I was hearing the same sound maybe 20 or 30 times. I breathed in some air and the nos reached its peak when I decided to breathe out. The flanging and my thoughts slowed down and returning to a high state instead of sober was good.
Subsequently I did more balloons, getting two in a row ready to keep the nos high going. I wasn't worried about oxygen cos I knew I was breathing in some air and also if I blacked out I was laying on my bed so my auto breathing reflexes would kick in.
Dxm always seems like a rollercoaster, you go from almost total disassociation to almost sober then back again. This continues in smaller waves until the trip is over. Nos on dxm seems to take your mind totally away for a minute or two then bring you back. It's like you're getting the dxm disassociation peaks really quickly. Note that after I had done about 6 canisters, about 4 hrs into the trip I was sober enough to type this report. So nos seems to end the dxm ride quicker, or at least you don't notice the slide back to reality as much.
The nos on dxm vs sober was totally different. I've never got euphoria from dxm except for one trip which I've reported here, but the nos while on dxm was very euphoric. It had a sense of familiarity, like I knew what was coming. I was totally comfortable the whole dxm trip, especially after taking the nos, which was good because usually I'm a little bit paranoid etc. I can't remember many of my thoughts when taking the nos but I do remember that in some strange way, I was reminded what effects of weed I liked, even though I don't like weed at all now and get very paranoid if smoking it.
I don't know if the euphoria will repeat itself next time, for me whenever I feel great when taking any new drug for the first time (maybe it's just the new feelings that I haven't experienced before), then the euphoria isn't as good the following times. I am wondering if this will be the same for nos + dxm or whether I will be able to get the same great feelings next time.
This was written last night and I tried some more nos this morning. Same as last time, audio flanging but no real high. I guess I'll keep the nos use to dxm trips, which is ok cos canisters are so expensive! One other thing I noticed was that the nos seemed to enhance my taste, normally I can't taste anything on dxm but after some nos I had a cigarette and could taste all the complex flavours.
