Had around 700 mg dxm from dry cough bottles ,5 100ml bottles .Things started getting weird like time seemed to be standing still .It was as if i was turning to stone slowly .Couldnt think hardly and started to panic slightly .
Went on lap top to try and take my mind off this feeling .
Things were getting worse as whatever i looked at on computer just faded away and i felt like i and pc were shutting down
I was very scared by now and then i suddenly realised what was happening iwas dying because iam on high dose ofdepression tablets and it warns you not to take cough medicine if on medication for depession .
This to me was real ,and everything was getting more distant from me and felt life slipping away .i started saying i dont want to die over and over and was slipping away quickly now .
ipicked up phone as a last effort to save me and tried 999 thinking well they might revive me but couldnt use phone properly
I then thought ineed to say goodbye to family members and got girl friend on phone and kept repeating i dont want to die and then things changed very quickly and was coming round and felt life coming back once i heard her voice
I started saying im alive im alive and i couldnt believe iwas alive .
All the time standing still had stopped and i was back to reality
i felt like i had died and came back .
Could anyone explain what had happened please .
 
Thanks for reply,so do you think it was all a trip or any chance of it being real about thinking i was dying with medication and DXM .
Im a risk taker and thought it was a final warning as it seemed real to me .Was like near death experience .

cant say for sure but it does sound like it ive had a couple of experiences similar myself although not on DXM once on ketamine (2g in 2 lines at the same time) and once on some of the nuttiest skunk ive ever had (bearing in mind i am an connoisseur of weed this shit scared me!!)
 
Ok sounds like you are alot more experienced than myself and you know how it feels to go on a bad trip. i have only had weed and pot in the past but not real heavy stuff .im afraid ive been into inhalents like nitrous and poppers not that i am gay mind you so dont worry lol ,
The nitrous never had any effect on me .I went thru 90 chargers one after the other and just felt slightly tired .Not boasting by the way just telling truth .seemed a waste of money to me
.To tell the truth wasnt sure about DXM as i dont know if my mind could handle trees talking to you etc .Took DXM about 4 times inlast week say for 1st time working up dosage each time .Could hardly get out of bed or walk .Like being drunk i think .
Think i weary now after that experience as it freaked me big time .
This forum is new to me also ,just joined today .Y
 
Ketamine is similar to DXM EH .The reason itried that was because it so easy to purchase from chemists but it sickly to drink
Have you had any out of body experiences ? Have you seen things like when you thinkof something it appears and if so was it good ?
 
Sounds like a normal DXM trip to me. You took it the wrong way. You panicked for no reason. You made the trip negative. Next time you trip on ANY drug; I recommend you keep in mind that ego deaths, out of body experiences, delusions etc... can be frightening to someone who's not prepared to experience those things, and trust me; they're very commonly experienced when psychedelics are consumed.

My advice; learn to enjoy being overwhelmed. It feels great!
