I weigh just under 100kg. I have Coinciding II, 16 tabs x 30mg DXM. 480mg DXM total. I am a DXM novice.Still this is a low dose. So should I be OK with that and 2mg clonazepam?
 
480mg is quite a heavy dose, especially if it's your first time. I'd start with ~200mg, and then see how you feel. If it isn't enough, you can always ramp up next time. Always better to take too little of a drug than too much.
 
First plateau: At a dosage of 1.5 to 2.5mg/kg, effects include alertness, restlessness, increased heartbeat, increased body temperature, intensification of emotions, euphoria, loss of balance, and slight intoxicatication.

Second plateau: At 2.5 to 7.5mg/kg, effects are similar to the first plateau, but with heavier intoxication, choppy sensory input, a dreamlike state of consciousness, some detachment from outside world, and closed-eye hallucinations.

So me 100kg into 480mg would be 4.8mg/kg.

480mgs is not a low dose for someone inexperienced with dxm, IMO 200-300mgs is a good introductory dose. It would be safe to dose 2mgs clon with either 480mgs dxm or a more conservative dose, although IME benzos detract from all aspects of the DXM buzz except the fx on co-ordination.

Although for someone new to DXM benzos could be handy if you start having a panic attack/freakout.

My only concern is the other drug in Coinicdin. How much is too much?
 
I did the 480 plus 1.5mg clonazepam. I am anxious by nature so that is probably making the trip that much better. It's like being hammered (alcohol) with demerol without wanting to puke.
 
I will see what I can do next time. I hate the taste of syrups so pills fit the bill perfect. Seriously, I have shot an entire bottle of tequila and not gotten this kind of mind Buzz.
 
Why do people keep taking corcidin after all the extensive warnings!? People have died taking corcidin... Aren't there other syrups or gels available? Probably cheaper than corcidin too...

I have never heard a warning about corcidin. The Bluelight DXM wiki down't pay particular attention to it...

What's the scoop? (This is corcidin II BTW))
 
DXM is fucking awesome bro and if you think so too drinking robo syrup is no huge cost as opposed to taking combination pills that have the potential to kill you

Oh and yeah the clonazepam probs was a good idea if you are an anxious person to begin with

Coricidin II contains, in addition to DXM, an antihistamine called chlorpheniramine maleate which can cause delerium and lasting cognitive impairment/brain damage and it can also cause death. Not nice, and it has a 4mg dose of chlorpheniramine maleate in each pill, along with the 30mgs dxm, so in taking many pills to get your dxm dose your ingesting large amounts of a dangerous substance.

480mg/30mg per pill = 16 pills 16*4 = 64mg chlorpheniramine maleate

So thats the scoop brother, i would advise not to take anymore and in future just deal with the taste of robo syrup, its a small price to pay

Im not sure what amount is dangerous, but you have taken alot more than the max daily therapeutic dosage.

You should be fine, its not healthy though.

I think you're at the threshold where if you took more chlorpheniramine maleate toxicity could manifest, just don't take anymore. And i cannot stress how much it is worth it to not do this in the future, DXM is great, but how would your family feel if you died of an antihistamine OD :( Stick to the DXM only products

Well I just didn't realize the dangers. I though an anti-histamine was an antihistamine.
 
It's not lethal, but that's a high dose to be taking.. I believe the recommended max. daily amount is about 40mg. Avoid doing it in future, if possible.

Just in case, be on the look-out for symptoms of low blood pressure, stuff like shortness of breath and irregular heart rate. If symptoms like this appear, unlikely though it may be, get to a hospital ASAP.
 
You seem fine right now, if there's more complications: go to the ER

You should always have a trip sitter, by the way.
 
I got through the first trip OK. Then at work today I dropped 300mg pure DXM and 160mg codeine. I am now home from work so I dropped another 300mg pure DXM with 1.5mg clonazepam just in case things get trippy.
