DXM hours after Ritalin

So, I had 35mg of Ritalin today, and possibly could be having some DXM later. The DXM would come about 4 hours after the Ritalin, and would be a very small dose, 200mg maybe.

Could this be a problem? I doubt it, but better to be safe.

The only bad thing that I can think about is that I have found DXM to cause your heart to start racing and with ritalin that could cause your heart to be overstimulated. This doesn't mean it necessarily will be but it is still a risk to think about. Yet, what I have found out that there usually isn't any negative effect with combining the two. And with the dosage you would be taking it isn't that big and would most likely be safe for you to take. So I wouldn't worry about it. I know you decided to not take the DXM but I left this here just in case you decide to in the future. You should tread carefully though because with higher amounts you can start to experience negative effects and this mix usually isn't the best....at least there is a time gap in between the two uses but still don't go overboard.

there is a possible risk of Serotonin Syndrome so i say save the DXM for another day

Yeah there is a possible risk but I think the dosage wouldn't be too risky but then again it probably would be better to save it for another time but OP do you take ritalin on a regular basis? If so then maybe you should just avoid DXM period.
