Ok. 2 of my friends went to a certain store tonight *cough* Walmart *cough* and picked up a 2-for-1 thing of Nyquil. The recommended dosage is 30ml (30mg DXM) and friend A (150lb.) took 105ml (105mg DXM) and friend B (220lb.) took 127.5ml (127.5mg of DXM).
They were pretty damn near FU(KED UP. Not seeing stuff but definetly out of it and blitzed.
Why is this? I didnt think that low a dosage of DXM would mess you up. Or what was it?

Don't drink Nyquil you fool, lol there's so much other bad shit in that drink. I don't know if your friend was swift enough to read the active ingredients section on the back of the Nyquil, if he was he would have noticed:
Active Ingredients (per tablespoon):
500mg Acetaminophen (pain reliever/fever reducer)
15mg Dextromethorphan HBr (cough suppressant)
6.25mg Doxylamine succinate (antihistamine)
30mg Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (nasal decongestant)
All the bold bits are shit you don't want to be drinking when trying to get messed up on DXM, your friends were probably more blitsed off the other crap than the DXM. Next time, tell them to look for stuff with ONLY Dextromethrophan HBr as the active ingredient, or get some powder online or something.
 
The number of ml you drink has NEVER been in my experience the number of mg you ingest. Just go buy some Robotussin Max...also you can find various charts showing the number of mg you should ingest to induce a certain level(strength) of trip. I forgot the last place I saw one...but do a seach on BL...try psychedelics though.
 
Well them drinking that just this ONE TIME wont permanetly screw anything up will it?
Ill make sure and tell them - and yes, it was actually friends of mine. Ive never tried DXM nor do I plan too :)

DXM itself is incredible...drinking the other stuff won't do anything except probably make them feel sick.
 
I was unaware that Doxylamine succinate was an antihistamine , its is usually sold as an OTC sleep aid , but then again Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine and a sleep aid so i'm not gonna say your wrong.
DMX is not a worthwhile drug. Most people would say that is their opinion but I think its a fact. One time I was talking to a guy about how much I like oxycontin and he said he works at CVS and that he had a suprise for me tomorrow and you all know what I was thinking or hoping my suprise , and he ended up bringing me DXM saying "this will fuck you up just as good". Thats was a bigger let down then the virgin who dumped me.

Have you ever *tried* dxm? So would you say pcp and ketamine are worthless drugs too?
Their effects aren't totally the same, but similar in a sense.
 
Just as there are different types of Robitussin, there are different types of Nyquil. Some is DXM-only. DXM is still shit. *exits*

PCP, ketamine, and DXM are 3 different worlds. I agree with *KANE*. "DXM is not worthwhile".

No I haven't tried pcp, but I've tried ketamine and dxm a large number of times. I don't think they are totally different worlds.
What confuses me is why people think dxm is worthless? I mean it can be an intense, euphoric psychedelic trip. Some people even go as far as to say dxm is a more intense trip than acid. I don't know about that, but still that's enough to say it isn't worthless.
 
There must be something in the air tonight. Anyway, what did they expect drinking all that nyquil. That shit is like liquid dope. It knocks your ass out...
