DXM hcl and DXM Hydrobromide?

Firstly, I would like to say hello.
I've come to bluelight now for awhile, and finally decided it was time to make a profile. So, first post! =p.

Anyway.
SWIM has the choice of buying Dextromethorphan hcl or Dextromethorphan hydrobromide.
The HBr one comes with Guafinesin.
Which has been stated to make one puke incessantly.
Swim was wondering, which to pick?
If the HCl one would trigger some sort of puking mechanism as well. Or be bad for organs.

You should know that SWIM isnt really accepted here as its pointless and causes needless confusion.

You should choose a product which has DXM as it's only active ingredient. AFAIK the difference in effect between dxm hbr and dxm hcl are slim. Just make sure there's nothing else in your syrup/pills besides dxm.

That whole SWIM thing kind of annoyed me anyways.
Just didn't wanna disturb the natural flow.

But okay.
So, If it were between HBr and HCl and the Hbr version had guaif, the Hcl would be the better choice?
