DXM for Opiate Tollerance Reduction

Taking Dextromorphan in recommended doses before using opiates can reduce your tollerance to opiates. But, if you took a one week break from opiates, and took DXM every day, following the instructions on the box, would it reduce your tolerance farther than a normal break? Also, if anyone can list other supplements to reduce tolerance, I could use it to devise a plan for my break.
