DXM first time

HEY, I want to try DXM (I can have easily)

I'm a light opiates regular user (not too hard opiates like heroin, morphine...) just codeine (400mg) , tramadol (300g), sometimes hydrocodone ; medium dosage (40mg)

Is terms of effects how could you compare DXM to Opiates (or to benzo because I tried almost all benzo ) ?

Do you feel euphoria with DXM, Psychedelic effects (soft / hard) ?, do you feel speed or relaxed ???...

Needs basic infos...

Is it good to mix DXM with an opiate or with a Benzo (valium = my favorite) or in an other way is it dangerous to do it ?

GOOD DXM STARTING DOSE : 200mg ?

Do an alergy test and then I'd say dive straight into 600-800mg. You'll be sorta relaxed. Just chillin out. Its a dissociative, so higher doses can lead to out of body feelings. If you don't dose high enough it just feels like being crunk with some weird vibes.
 
300 mg is a perfect dose trust me. You will not be overwhelmed and definately still be feeling it.

And yes there is definate euphoria present and a benzo will dull down the trip.

Opiates are safe to use with dxm but i find no reason to use them during as your whole body will already be filled with tingly goodness. Save em for the comedown. Enjoy

Interesting comment what do you really feel with 300mg

I don't have the pills I need to wait 21days) but I want to know the effects, I'm impatient ;)

Do you a feeling regarding a change in your mind (not an hallucination, but, maybe a psychedelic effect, yes ? or only euphoria effects ?

I will use it pure (without other drugs)

I strongly recommend you shoot for 3rd plat. Imo 2nd plateau is useless and actually quite uncomfortable. (Be careful tho! The cough syrup absorbs SLOWLY, don't slam down 2 bottles and hope it's not too much... do it slow) Once you get to 3rd plat. it's a very magical experience... try laying in bed and closing your eyes, hopefully you'll experience the "space trip" (that's what i call it) where you get a very vivid sensation that your body is moving, turning and spinning (it's very awesome) You may also have an OBE which is my fav. part of DXM.

I suggest you don't combine anything with DXM, because most drugs just dull/take away from the experience. Weed can enhance it somewhat and it is certainly great for getting rid of nausea, but it also dulls many aspects of the trip so nowadays I don't combine it with anything.

600-800mg is a huge dose for a first timer...... Telling him to dive right into it with that dose is not very harm reducing lol.
 
NMDA-antagonist, like DXM are nothing like opiates or benzos. Some NMDA-antagonists like many of the PCP analogs have some mu-agonism (opioid effects), but DXM does not. So if you are expecting anything similar to opiate effects, than you are looking at the wrong drug.

Combining opiates with DXM isn't a bad combo. I find opiates to go very well with dissociatives (nmda-antagonists), but for a first time user, you should feel out DXM on its own.

Combining benzos with DXM will only diminish the effects of the DXM, and reduce your ability to remember what happened during the trip. They aren't a good mix.

Have you taken cough syrup before for a cough (recommend doses on the bottle)? If so, did the effects last longer than 8 hours? If so they you might be definicent in an enzyme that breaks down the DXM into its metabolite DXO. So high doses of DXM will be very unconformable and may last for days, aka a NO NO.

If you haven't taken low doses of DXM before, I recommend taking 50-60mg and seeing how you react to see if you do the the deficiency.

A good starting dose for tripping is between 200-300mg as some people are more sensitive than others.
 
Ok, if you want straight facts on what dxm is like, here it is

dxm is euphoric, but to me, there's an underlying feeling of "this is weird"

the trip can be outright - meaning full blown hallucinations
or it can be a perceptual trip - you don't see shit, it just looks funny or you can't quite grasp what exactly it is

and when you're trippin, be somewhere away from most people

because you're eyes look glazed over and almost surprised looking while on dxm: I went to the DMV to get another lisence while trippin, trust me, I got some weird looks, weird feelings, and it took me forever to hold a cohearant conversation with the lady responsible for taking my information...I don't even remember driving home
 
I reccommend a test dose and then 300 mgs as well.

Ive only used Dxm twice but I've used many other psychedelic and disassociative drugs and I think 300 mgs is a good starting spot to have a solid experience without it being too under or overwhelming.

At that dose I felt slightly 'detached' from my surroundings but definitely still recognized them. I basically felt like my viewpoint was further back and higher in my head and still recognized reality but it was blurred not unlike alcohol or even a couple opiates I've tried for that matter.

The body load of the dxm capsules is nothing like opiates though there is a euphoria but it also feels slightly odd and made me feel naseoous but no vomiting occurred. My walking felt very rigid and almost unnatural (hence the term robowalk) but is amusing as well.

Music can be enhanced or muffled, most likely it will be perceived differently than in a sober state. With eyes closed or in the dark you can get some closed eye visuals which at that dose for me on dxm were not much more than wavy lines and indiscriminate shapes but occasionally they were driven by my thought which I found interesting. Keep in mind my experience won't necessarily reflect yours and dxm seems like a pretty malleable chemical so enjoy it how you wish, I prefer a solo experience.

The experience lasts about 5-8 hours with maybe a few hours of after effects where you may feel slightly lethargic and burned out. The onset for me last time was close to 2 hours so be patient, my other experiences it only took like 45 minutes to comeup. I was on a plane though when it took 2 hours to come up so perhaps that threw my perception off somewhat.

The higher doses can be quite profound from what I've heard so if you want to aim for a really deep experience you can go for that if you want but losing your motor coordination and the sensation of dxm can be quite odd and possibly disconcerting to a novice user at 300 mgs as well. So probably best to work your way up.
