DXM - First Time
This weekend was my first experience with DXM. After doing dramamine recently (earlier thread), I decided to give this a shot.
Friday night I was at a nearby city to watch a concert with my girlfriend. I had purchased one 300 mg bottle of robitussin cough syrup maximum strength prior to the trip. Well, we got up there and purchased our hotel room (she did at least, as I am not eighteen). We went inside and unpacked, at which time I dosed the one full bottle.
Shortly after, we headed to the concert (Country musc, which I hate) and I had trouble getting up the really steep stairs. I felt sort of drunk, but not unpleasant. I just zoned out during the concert, and I couldn't stand with much balance.
After that, we went back to the hotel. My girlfriend was reluctant, but she allowed me to purchase another bottle at a nearby walmart. I did so and drank it about 3 hours since my last bottle. My girlfriend just chilled with me for a while, and then wanted to have sex. This is the first time I noticed I was completely unable to get an erection. It sorta pissed me off
. Anyways, things started to take on a very "dreamy" feeling, as if I was almost asleep. I had two hallucinations, one was that I thought I saw a third eye on my girlfriend's head, but it quickly vanished. Later, when the lights were out, I thought I saw a green LED float up toward the sky and become a rocket ship. Nothing after that. No hangover feeling.
Two days later, I decided to try two bottles at the same time with my girlfriend. After smoking some weed (which left me a bit tired), I consumed 600 mg in rapid succession. The effects came on about 40 minutes later. I felt that same old drunk feeling, and I thought it would be more of the same. I was wrong.
After going to my room, time seemed to shift horribly. I think I passed out for a while because one hour flashed by in what seemed to be five minutes. I couldn't even remember what I was doing. The funny thing is that I had no hallucinations at all. That is what I was hoping for . I just felt REALLY confused and "dreamy".
The one bad thing is that I became VERY hot. I turned red and my girlfriend almost freaked out and called the ambulence. Is this a normal reaction? I have not heard of it happening before.
Overall, I don't think I drank enough to pass into a world of hallucinations. Maybe on another occasion I will drink 3 bottles.
