DXM extraction techniques for other purposes.

I was wondering what other materials you could use instead of dxm in the agent lemon extraction.
For example could you extract say diphenhydramine or ground opium poppies using the same ammonia, naptha, citric acid extraction method.
Im new so I hope I posted y his without breaking rules.
The reason being is I am trying to stay away from heroin, oxys, etc and want to find a safe alternative to illicit substance ABUSE, not use.
