DXM dosing questions?

Yes that is normal...it should be working...does your face feel kind of "hot" also?



go close your eyes and lay down and meditate....i'm telling you that is how you feel dxm, you can be awake walking around and not even know you are tripping but when you close your eyes and let it take you away you will see how far it can take you. Its not like acid or shrooms where you are entertained and overpowered no matter what you are doing and wide awake.
 
My face isnt hot but my body is and im itchy as fuck. ok. I'm gonna go close my eyes and zone out into some music and see where it brings me

The itching is normal also....take some benadryl (diphenhydramine) aka tylenol PM or unisom, this is an antihistamine which will stop the itching and allow you to relax, it may also make you a little drowsy though. And I pretty sure it is safe to take with DXM but you might want to double check before you take it.

how did the meditation go? thats really where DXM shines, if you are awake and walking around its hard to tell your are really tripping and you might just feel intoxicated.
 
Well idk I expected more I put on some pink floyd and I def, zoned out no doubt but idk how to describe it. its like i had CEVs ut i didnt
 
ok i just downed the last of the second bottle apparently earlier I went into a trance black out like state for 30min. idk how to describe it. its 3am and im still truckin
 
the music should sound amazing, like it does on mdma. and you should see CEVS and feel like your body is falling or made out of syrup and dripping or like you are upsidedown and dripping down around the bed
 
Ended up falling asleep at abput 5am. It wasn't really all that IMO, but I'm going to give it one more chance in the future taking a higher dose all at once instead of redosing throughout the night.

And yes it came to the point where my body felt like it was melting and i had some nice CEVs, but for some reason music was still..meh. I firmly believe my problem was because it's not as strong when you re dose instead is dosing all at once, any truth to this? Because the high seemed like it had potential.
 
For me dxm is one of the few chemicals where redosing can intensify the trip instead of just extending the duration, the key is good timing. When I would take two bottles of robo gels at once I would always puke some of it up right before falling into a 2nd-3rd plateau trip. With dxms longish duration rightly timed redoses will have overlapping effects. I could take 1 bottle and wait an hour, take another bottle wait another hour and take one more resulting in a very intense trip. I trip harder this way because I can actually keep all 3 bottles down whereas taking all 3 at once I always puke a bit of it up during the come up.
 
redosing should get you to a very high peak based on what i have read, its called sigma dosing used to reach sigma plateau and has to do with the way DXM is metabolized.

I just took 200 mg, hope I feel something from that. wouldve taken more but it was all I had left at home.



update/edit: 200mg worked quite nicely, where 100 mg (attempted another time) did very little if anything at all.

Well this time I got the orange Delsym syrup thats in a box. Only active ingredient is DXM and by doing the calculations there is roughly 888 mg of DXM total. That's what the caluculator said so I'll say 880 at the least. Either way a good amount.

Well tonight will truly be the night to tell if DXM is something i find fun or not.

well..880mg down the hatch. I'm in for a ride. Let's see where it takes me.

Question. Music, do you guys prefer music without or without words? just curious

Next time try coricidin (i think heart&cold) they look like red skittles. how is the delsym working for ya? how do you feel?

Mod note: Most coricidin preperations contain chlorpheniramine, which is dangerous in combination with DXM. I think the one without CPM has guaifenesin, which while not dangerous can cause a lot of GI upset.

I don't prefer one or the other. For DXM my go to musics include, George Gerwishin (that Rhapsody in Blue...), Jimi Hendrix, Anamanaguchi...

Delysm (DXM polistyrex) is a time release formulation, so even if you take it all at once it'll be significantly less potent, and more protracted, than an identical dose of DXM Hydrobromide. On the plus side, Delsym tastes way better than the DXM HBr syrups. In any case, it should work better than your first attempt.

As for intensifying it, cannabis synergizes well with the drug, and can kick things up a notch while alleviating negative side-effects. Otherwise, having grapefruit or grapefruit juice the day you plan on using will potentiate the experience via CYP3A4 enzyme inhibition.

ive heard bad things about corocidin. but i feel good nothing really great though but im just coming up so yeah.

yeah i didnt realize it wasnt dxm hbr until after i drank it. or else i wouldve done an extraction. Apparently this has a plastic coating or something and makes it last longer. I'm hoping its better than my first attempt. I'm now 2 hours in and I feel good. When do you think I would begin to peak?
 
Ambient music is my favorite for DXM. Brian Eno's MUSIC FOR AIRPORTS or THURSDAY AFTERNOON are excellent.

Damn thats kind of a let down if im not going to get much higher. idk maybe dxm just isnt for me. right now i dont feel much. nothing that is good enough to talk about at least

and i have no weed unfortunately
