While going through some old text files on my computer I found this trip report. It's over 2 years old. I hate anti-cholinergic deleriants now, and would never consider doing this again...
Gender - Male
Height - 6'2"
Weight - 155lbs
Dosage -
175mg Dextromethorphan
900mg Dimenhydrinate
2 Ephedrine/Caffeine pills
10:15pm - I took 400mg of dimenhydrinate and one ephedrine/caffeine pill.
10:30pm - I took 400mg of dimenhydrinate and one ephedrine/caffeine pill.
10:45pm - I took 100mg of dimenhydrinate and 175mg of dextromethorphan.
11:00pm - I Started feeling the effects of the dextromethorphan. I took enough to give me a nice first plateau experience. I did this so I wouldn't be bored while waiting for the dimenhydrinate to take effect, and also to make the whole trip a bit more interesting.
11:15pm - While I was sitting at my computer, I Felt strange. It was a weird nervous feeling. I also had invoulentary leg spasms. The last thing I had in my log on my computer was "seein meoce." I have no idea what that means.
For the rest of the trip, I had no sense of time, so I'll just write what I remember. The first hallucination happened when I was sitting at my computer. My field of vision on my left warped inward for a second, and then went back. I also noticed that every once in a while everything would get brighter for a second and then return to normal. That kept happening throughout the night.
While I was at my computer, I noticed everything looked a little different. I thought to myself, "Everything looks like it has been compressed into a crappy quality jpeg file!" which it kind of did, I guess. I remember having to urinate at least three times that night, most likely more than that. I found my way to the bathroom alright, I did have the normal "heavy" feeling. My keyboard must have weighed 20 pounds. I never turned any lights on on the way, or in the bathroom. I didn't want to wake anyone up, and I was afraid how it hurts your eyes when you turn the lights on after you are used to the dark. This was actually the only thing I really feared during the whole trip, and it wasn't even that strong of a feeling. I remember having a little trouble in the bathroom maybe once or twice...I think. I remember fumbling around in the dark and accidentally walking into a door or a wall.
After getting back from the bathroom one time (I was tripping pretty hard by then), I was sitting at my computer. Then my dad opens the door and is standing in the doorway, which is about 4 feet from where I was. I rember looking up from my chair, and seeing this large gray human figure, with a dark, black face. I know its my dad because I recognized his voice. Immediately, I think back to all the dimenhydrinate reports, and how most describe talking to people who aren't there. I responded to him anyway. He was talking to me about the "morning" and there was a confusion between us about what morning he was talking about, or something, I can't remember. Eventually he told me to turn my computer off and go to bed. For some reason I remember it being 2:00am at this point, but I'm not sure if it was or not.
I got into my bed, and looked at the green light that was on the smoke detector. It was moving around the ceiling. I thought to myself about why it was doing that, like it was a being making a conscious decision to move around the ceiling. I remember looking over to my window which is very far from the door. I thought I saw my dad standing there next to the window. I thought to myslef, "What the hell is he doing standing there?" I look again, and there is a large gray cylinder in place of him. Somehow I knew that is was made of cardboard, and he was inside. I look closer at this strange thing and it completely dissapears.
I guess I fell asleep shortly after that. I woke up, and it seemed to be either morning or evening, I was not really sure which one. I looked at the wall and there is a huge trail of ants on the wall. I thought to myself, "Oh shit, did I leave food in here? My mom's gonna be pissed, she's gonna have to call the exterminator!" I lay there in bed watching the ants move in their trail along the wall. While staring at the wall I saw these transparent colors appear. The phrase "Like a bubble..." was in my head. This made some sense, since the colors were similar to the surface of a soap bubble, and it can "pop" and be instantly gone.
I got up, and went into the bathroom to take a shower. I notice that the wooden decoration that was previously on top of the toilet was now on the floor in front of it. I thought, "Shit, I can't even imagine what I did in here last night." While I was in the shower, I put my head under the water, closed my eyes, and saw some really cool closed eye visualizations.
After I got out of the shower, I went back to my room to get dressed. Now there are no ants, and I just laughed. I went downstairs, and looked at the clock on the microwave, 7:32. Thought to myself, "Fuck, I'm supposed to be at this rave at 5:00!" Then I saw my mom in her robe watching TV, and I realized it's 7:32am. I was quite relieved.
I still felt a little buzzed. My mom asked me why I was up this early (I work nights, so I'm usually never up at this time). I told her I couldn't sleep or something. She looked at me closer, and asked me why my pupils were all dilated. She said I looked like I just took acid or shrooms. She also told me to give her my hand, and it was shaking. I came up with some lame excuse why, and amazingly she bought it. She also asked me about if I knew what that big crash was last night. It almost definately involved me, the bathroom, and that wooden decoration thing. I told her I didn't know. She went on to tell me my dad thought someone was trying to break in or something, and he went in my room two times. 2 times? Oh shit, I only remember talking to him once.
I went back to bed, and felt well enough to go on with life normally that night. I noticed little periferal vision hallucinations, and little dots flying around for a few days afterwards. Now that I look back, I wonder if I really even talked to my mom the next morning. I'm pretty sure I did, but I'm surprised she didn't realize strange behavior that night plus dilated pupils and shakey hands the next day doesn't equal anything. Definately a fun experience, amazing nothing bad happened at all. (Now as I'm saving this file, I notice a bitmap that I made in MS Paint. It has a black background with hand drawn letters that read, "I LOVE GETTING" I somewhat remember doing this that night. I remember it made perfect sense.)
