DXM didn't affect me?

Last night I downed a whole bottle of Robitussin DM. I ate a few chips to get rid of the taste, and had some Dr. Pepper and Tea. Then I sat and watched some movies with my friend.

I didn't hallucinate or have out of body experiences or anything. I remember thinking everything seemed a little strange, but I never got anything out of the drug that I haven't gotten out of cannabis. It was some pretty good euphoria and that was it.

I thought this drug was more then just euphoria?

DXM is dose responsive. Perhaps a little more research is in order before you just start grabbing random bottles of cough syrup and start chugging them. DM contains guaf, something that is likely to cause projectile vomiting. Perhaps it was just luck that you didn't grab a bottle of nyquil and take that to the head. There really is just way to much information out there that is too easy to find to chalk it up to ignorance, so it must be stupidity or laziness....

BTW DM is 3mg/ml at most so with a 4 oz bottle the most DXM you would have ingested is 354 mg. Depending on body weight, which is very important when dealing with DXM, you likely caught a lower 2nd plateau dose.

I did research. It was 5mg/ml by the way.

EDIT: And I new that stuff in it could make me sick, I felt like taking the chance. It only made me slightly sick regardless.

Taking 540mg of DXM and see how you feel. Put on some music, close your eyes, smoke a little.

I basically only take DXM now for CEV's.

call bullshit on whose dosage? DXM is measured on a mg/kg ratio so I'm assuming you are talking to the OP. Oh, and Robitussin DM is 5mg/15ml DXM, which is 3mg/ml not 5... do your math when you do your "research"

Research a bit more, you probably had a first tier experience. Its not very good for me, its like wheee I'm high followed by a nasty comedown where I can't understand anything for a bit.
