DXM (Coricidin HBP) -First Three Times- Me, Thee and a Packet o Trip C..and a plunger

Yeah, thinking about coricidin actually makes me kind of nostalgic...I never figured anyone else knew about what that shit can do to you, my group of friends was the first to try the stuff...My sophmore year was the year I started smokin pot,started drinking,and started taking really weird sounding drugs that fuck you up hardcore like coricidin and dramamine...I can't say those weren't good times-they were a blast...But only now looking back as my High School is now officially over-it really fucked us up...Every weekend we binged out on dramamine,pot,and coricidin like mad...It was considered not even worth doing unless you did a whole box which is 16, or more(usually more)...We even tried the wrong kind just to see what it'd do...After about 6 months or so of doing that we all kind of realized how sick that cinnamony taste made us,and we gave it up(besides a few times only taking 8 or so over the next few years)...
Never in a million years did I think to find a topic like this come up, with someone callin "The Nightmare" Trip C's...I told all my friends about it,and we laughed our asses off about it...I thought I'd never hear another person outside of our group mention that nasty,nasty drug...Ah well,just don't do every chance you can get...Save for a time when there is absolutely nothing else you can possibly think of to be done...Then a Nightmare is somewhat appropriate...
 
Nauzeenate: I doubt you and your friends were the first to find out that certain cough/cold pills contain DXM. :)

Yeah I know we weren't the first to discover it, I just had no reason to believe at that time that anyone else would have happened to stumble across it...At the time, I didn't know what the hell DXM was, I just took the stuff because my friends told me it'd mess me up(brilliant,I know)...
 
i know this is after the fact of this post, but i thought i would add my .2, i've used pure dxm products as well as corciden, and the strength of corciden as well as the conveinence of pill form is very appealing, but the stress it put my body through is not... it caused me to shake uncontrollably during the "trip" and i shook even afterwards.
also, the story of the kid who took 31 sounds very familiar, seeing as not too long ago i witnessed two of my closest friends take 21 each and eventually get rushed to the emergency room...
 
Last summer I learned about coricidan, and I thought it was soooo awesome that you could just walk into a store and come out with as many drugs as you wanted for a lil bit of money!! I got hooked to 'em and started taking them every day at work. Yes, I took them while working EVERY day of the summer. I went through everything that you guys are talking about, from not being able to walk, to "the shakes", throwing up after taking them, not being able to talk, and seeing some trippy shit when I closed my eyes.
A few times, I got up to taking 22 at a time, and I only weigh 108 pounds!! I was fucked up all the time, even when I wasn't on C's, because of the after-effects that it leaves u for days. I ended up losing about 15 pounds from throwing up so much and never eating, and losing some close friends that just couldn't stand being around me when I was on the pills.
Coricidan ruined my entire summer, and now I'm glad that you can't get the shit in stores anymore. If you feel like fucking up your life, then take them, but I would highly suggest not to mess around with this stuff anymore.
