Dxm + codeine + alcohol + weed

Hello, I hope I've posted this in the right place!

I'm thinking of trying this combo tonight, but I heard from a friend that dxm and codeine cancel each other out? Can someone with experience please tell me if this is true or not?
fyi, I know that breathing problems can occur and such.

This is a terrible idea. You are asking if four different depressants are safe to take together; this is very likely to cause severe respiratory depression (possibly fatal) and by all costs I suggest avoiding it. You would probably have a safer and more enjoyable time taking each one alone.
 
^Truth. Opiates and alcohol do not mix well at all. With DXM in the mix it could be even worse. I'm not sure what effect the cannabis would have to such a combo, but I wouldn't even bother to go there.

Why do you need to take the codeine? It would be a lot safer without it. Or the alcohol. Preferably both.

I know psood0nym has mentioned taking buprenorphine with DXM and having a great time. But he didn't have alcohol and weed in the mix (as far as I know), and I'm not sure what doses he took of each. It would probably be best to leave alcohol out of all explorations with DXM, regardless of what you are combining it with.

No, they don't cancel each other out to the best of my knowledge. Rather, some polydrug (ab-)users combine the two in search of a synergistic effect. (Please note, though, as the others have mentioned: this is an extremely dangerous practice because the compounded effects of two or more depressants on the respiratory system are highly unpredictable!)
 
Interesting, thank you. I'm not going to try it now anyway. I'm going to down 700mg~ dxm instead and just enjoy it by itself!

this is a great combo that i have done many times
lower significantly your dxm dose as dxm lowers opiates tolerance and the codein kicks much harder
my ideal dose is 200mg codeine(i don't have opiates tolerance) + 300mg dxm(for wich i have a very big tolerance most people do 50mg dxm + 100-200codeine) + joints and beer all the time
:) if you plan on doing it start really low the first time but the experiance is extreamly peasurable and euphoric so i would say go for it :P
 
DXM potentiates codeine , at doses between 30-60mg for someone without tolerance , when u go above that it gives those side effects that a robotrip does , so it gives a wierd edge to the codeine high , however this is in the psychedellic drug forum , so if ur looking for a trip , just fuck off everything except the weed/DXM , take 300mg DXM and smoke up when ur high .

If ur doing it for the codeine , take 30-60mg DXM 45 mins before the codeine , 300-400mg codeine (my preferred is 600mg with a slight tolerance , my first doses were 400mg) then drink a small amount of alcohol (no more than 4-5 standard drinks , preferably 1-3) about half an hour before and after . then after about half an hour of dosing the codeine (basically straight after ur second set of drinks) have a choof and nod away .
