Any one else agree? Seriously when im on dxm i cant feel shit my whole body is just one big buzz of tingly numbness. I would think dxm in low doses could greatly help with opiate withdraw possibly?

Even the psychological part. For me the after glow is gloriousss i know after a good dxm trip the next day i feel great its weird im almost too happy i could see myself getting annoying to other people because of my happiness.

Ied get a pretty good afterglow the next day when i took the stuff, almost like a medium dose of codeine. But better painkilling effects than other opiates, naw.

high doses are comparable to a k-hole, not opiates. i guess i can kind of see where your coming from, though

obviously it's better than any painkiller because you are 100% numb when you take enough DXM. Literally, if you took enough you could probably get hit by a car and not feel much lol. pain killers reduce pain, anestetics make it impossible or near-impossible to feel pain because you feel nothing.

DXM is a dissociative, so I guess the painkilling effects your reporting is just because you're generally "disconnected" when taking such substances. I know Ketamine is used as a general anesthetic for veterinary surgery, and the two substances are somewhat akin, so it goes without saying there is something to what your saying. I wouldn't really call it pain killing, more of a general numbness or disconnect from your pain. You know the pain is still there, but its so far off it just doesn't matter anymore.

i remember reading somewhere that when they banned cough syrup with codene they took the codene molequle and removed the analgesic propertys of it. even that means they took the pain releiving part out it obviousley shares similar traits. i completely agree 100% maybe not a "painkiller" but it sure kills mostly all pain
