Dxm bad trip

So my friend had tried triple C's before and said they were amazing so i said what the hell. I got a bottle of the biggest Robo i could find and chugged half then about an hour later when i began to feel it the other half. My stomatch felt as if someone was kicking it for the entire time i had the runs, i felt like i was about to puke, and i must have had an allergic reaction cause i was iching my selve the entire time.... other than that it was an odd experiece, i felt as if i was a puppet being held up by god everything looks sketched and i heard the ocasinal random barrage of crickets and birds cherping in the middle of winter. Was this a usual tirp? cause it was pretty bad
 
Not everyone enjoys the effects of DXM, the itching is a pretty normal reaction, its to do with the release of histamine if i remember correctly.
I used to get it BAD on my scalp, but after so many times of doing the stuff i got used to it pretty quickly.
I used to find that i got pretty bloated and nauseuas after drinking about 2 bottles of syrup which i dont blame my digestion system for.
The robitussin cough gels are usually easier to handle for some although i have tried them before and personally preffered using cough syrup, after the first few you swallow you think it'll be easy to down a whole jar of the capsules but after about 20 of them its hard not to gag when they hit the back of your throat.
If you research a bit more on the recreational use of dextromethorphan containing syrups you will find a list of common side effects, gastrointestinal discomort and diarrhea being 2 of them.
Sounds like you did no research on what to expect in terms of effects, maybe thats the reason you thought it was a bad trip?, my suggestion would be to do a little more research on the stuff if you will be attempting to try it again.​
 
I would say it sounds like you had a fun trip to most of us experienced dxm trippers aside from the itching, and stomach problems.
Of course.. I would reccomend taking a few dph pills such as benadryl before dosing to prevent the itching.
Also id suggest taking less next time because it sounded too intense for you.
I also say don't try the triple cs they are bad for you because rhe antihistamine in it.

Why the bad trip? Cos Triple Cs are horribly toxic shite that cause brain damage? Just a thought. Track down some DXM preparations that contain no active ingredients other than DXM or buy pure DXM crystal online and you should have more luck and a functioning brain in years to come :)

Alternatively, cos you don't like DXM - many don't. Or cos you had a bad trip - some do. Better luck next time and please don't think all trips are like that cos DXM is one that splits people down the middle anyway as to whether it's worthwhile or not.

Its acetaminophen thats the dangerous ingredient in triple c's.
 
Yeah thank, also i did do alittle reaserch just not bad side effects lol. and yeah it was pretty fun i wont lie but the iching was terrible....
 
I did not take triple C's im sorry I took an entire Bottle (the bigger one) of robo max strength

Oh well:(, thanks for correcting me though shambles, beyond me why people still take them, there is enough bad reputation about them to sink a ship.
 
Yup. But in the case of meth and heroin it isn't necessarily true. Meth can be used responsibly (but probably is kinda bad for ya if you overdo it too frequently ;)). Heroin causes no harm whatsoever beyond addiction and legal ramifications that only exist due to prohibition.
 
We all like just a bit of methamp. Ends up in our ecstasy some time or another anyways!

If it's just robitussin then your probably experiencing the worst of the bad side effects, if you consider them bearable then your a certain type but some people don't like to integrate nausea as part of a tripping experience and go for other substances that don't cause it so much like LSD for example.

My one experience on DXM just no name (but only with DXM) syrup included some nausea and stomach issues but to be honest I even was at work the whole time as handled it well. It may depend on how much punishment your willing to go through to trip. Ever trip mescaline cactus? certainly produces nausea! more than what I felt with DXM. And the DXM tip itself to me kind of dissociated me from the gross feelings anyways, my dose was 125 ml and 375 mg of DXM in those ml of syrup. wasn't yours the same dose? I had a +2 level trip like this.
 
With any drug you try, you'll find side effects that you adapt to over time. I can't think of a first trip on any drug that was outstanding, not even alcohol or marijuana. Maybe Valium. Heroin has severe side effects for brand new users. Persistence typically does the trick for me. Is that because we learn what to expect or because our bodies make adjustments? Probably both.
