The most DXM I've ever taken at one time was at Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure; here's the report. You'll notice I took Coricidin. I've stopped taking it! Converted to Robogels after this trip.

Dosage: 480 mgs DXM

Weight: 105 lbs.

Me and two friends decided to take some Robotussin RoboGels on a church retreat. One of my friends acquired two packs of Coricidin and a bottle of RoboGels. Me and Friend One (call him Doug) took 16 Coricidin each, I with a soft pretzel, he with a Coke. Friend Two (call him Dave) took 20 RoboGels with an Icee.

As we were walking around Islands of Adventure, we stopped by the Animal Planet show. About 10 minutes into dogs jumping through hoops and parrots flying around the audience, the trip hit me, hard. I felt an uncomfortable pressure in my face and thought, "Well, I've finally taken too much."

The first ride we went on was the Hulk. Waiting in line, we all talked about how the trip was going. In the waiting room are several large "generators" from the movie. These made weird sounds and put on kind of a light show. The roller coaster itself was not that great. Being on DXM, I felt like I was watching a movie of someone riding a roller coaster.

After the ride, all of us were completely gone. Walking around, more lost than anything, we see a promotion for the movie Madagascar. This promotion includes four or five men in penguin costumes walking around talking with children. On the way over to the penguins, Doug vomits approx. four times in some bushes along a pathway. Dave, this being his first Robotrip, is completely silent and wide-eyed. I'm just totally in awe of four life-size penguins, and not nauseous at all.

We meet up with the main group to go on another ride. This time, it's Dueling Dragons. The three Robotrippers decide to get a little behind everyone else, for fear of being to obvious. Nausea kicks in for me at about this time; it only increases as we get closer to the front of the line. About ten people from the front of the line, I immediately have to vomit. I look around for a bathroom, but to no avail. I go into an alcove, where an employee door is located, and throw up all over the floor. After this, I came completely down from my high. I ride Dueling Dragons, which is again uneventful.

After Dueling Dragons, it's time to go. We have to make our way through Seuss Land, which seems oddly oppressive to me.

All in all, not my best trip. It could've been worse, could've been better. I've since stopped taking Coricidin, for all of the CPM.
One question, has anyone ever felt a pressure in their face while Robotrippin? It has happened to me three or four times, but never to anyone else I talk to...maybe I should stop?

EDIT: paragraphs.

Well first hopefully you know corcidin is not a good way to get dxm. That is probably part of why it makes you feel the pressure....

and I couldnt imagine riding a rollercoaster on dxm.... that would automatically make me throw up all over.

But anyway sounds like you had an ok time.... next time dont take corcidin. Take the robitussin gelcaps.

Dexhead, it's my first post man; at least offer some advice. I apologize to all BL'ers for not using the correct format in the title. Lesson learned.

Best advice has already been given, but it apparently bears repeating: NO MORE Coricidin!

The gelcaps are by far the best for early uses, but as tolerance develops you might want to switch to Zicam.

However, I find that 540 of gelcaps consitently hit me harder than 1 bottle of Zicam, which is suposed to have 540mg DXM.

haha thats brave

one of my friends took robotussin on a church retreat, they gave some to some kid who was apparents on anti-psychotic medication (and probably other meds) [they didnt know he was on meds untill he started tripping]

the kid tweaked out, got in trouble

they found all the empty cough medacine boxes...... nothing really happened though

^ damn i guess your friend is lucky the kid wasnt taking an maoi, hed prolly be dead
