DXM at a music festival?

I'll just ask the question first off for those of you that don't want to read all of my rationales and background info. How do you think DXM would be at a music festival?

first off, I'll say I'm one of that 1/3rd of people that like DXM. I think that it is the best drug i've experienced for music enhancement, It has that effect on music that I would say MDMA does, where it just makes the music sound really really good and euphoric, not different or strange like psychedelics, just really really good.

I like MXE too, but I don't think the music enhancement is as good for the level of "fucked up" that you have to deal with. I also think that its much easier to reach a steady long lasting plateu and calibrate dosage with DXM and not over shoot things and they get too weird like what often happens to me with MXE.

I'm not sure if all the standing and dancing and having my eyes open would ruin the experience of DXM at a fest, as when i experience music on dxm…its usually laying in bed with my eyes closed enjoying the amazing CEVs. I'm not worried about any of the social aspects, when i go to a music fest its just about me and the music and feeding off the crowds energy but not needing to interact with them, their energy is enough.

the closest thing i've every tried was MXE at a club show, and it was really good….more in a euphoria sense but it didn't enhance the music a whole let at the levels I had to keep it at to keep things semi-normal (i don't like over doing it at shows)

I would plan to take about 400 mg of DXM

Well if DXM agrees with you then I don't see why not.
For me DXM makes me terribly nauseous and itchy and I get terrible headaches so I would never imagine doing it at a music festival, I actually don't think I plan on ever trying it again.

This. DXM fuuuuccckkksss me up way more than for it to be worth the effects.

Also, take this into account:

This is the way you enjoy DXM, and personally, any time I've used it this is the only way I was able to enjoy it as well. Even getting up out of bed to take a piss is HELL trying to navigate the ocean of my hallways while squinting my eyes because of the light and then pissing all over the seat because there are two of them and I aimed for the wrong one. This doesn't seem fun in public at all. There are far better drugs for this.

When I first started messing with DXM, I thought about the same thing because it does kinda seem like it would work out. A couple trial runs proved me very, very wrong and that was at low doses.

That afterglow though...now that IS something special and rivals an MDMA buzz, unfortunately you must endure the entire trip to get there. Maybe take your DXM way before the show, find somewhere to lay down for a few hours, and then get up and go party!
