    Welcome Guest!

DXM as a replacement for e???

I love DXM and have had numerous profound experiences with it. I, like many other silly kids, started using it in 8th grade at the crisp age of 13 just to get fucked up. After experimenting with LSD, mushrooms, MDMA/MDA later in life (age 17-19), I started using DXM again and realized its psychedelic potential. I do not like it at low doses because it is just like being kinda drunk, but I realllllly love doing high third plateau doses or low 4th plateau since then it is more like a K-hole where you are fully submerged and out-of body. Total separation of conciousness from physica body where infinite possibilities are possible. I love this drug. I usually aim for 600-1000mg (any higher you cant remember much and are paralyzed but its not very enjoyable) I recommend anybody who doesnt like this drug because of its stigma of a kid drug or a silly drug to give it a go, because it can really do a lot.

I don't think regular dxm use is that much healthier than regular E use, especially mentally. Plus rolling is so much better

The word is still out, true. There have been studies specifically denying that dxm causes Olney's Lesions (they're posted on erowid if you're interested), but other studies have seemed to indicate a lot of similar effects to drugs such as dizocilpine aka MK-801, which *does* cause Olney's lesions in rats and primates if I recall correctly.

onleys lesions have only been observed in rats, and the drug used was MK-801. william white was the one who claimed that DXM casues it in humans, but AFAIK, this has never been tested.

its hardly conclusive, but its still best to be careful with DXM as anectdotally, people have reported problems with heavy use. just keep your doses reasonable and dont dose too often and you'll be fine.

DXM is pretty solid but fuck syrup, fuck OTC pills, fuck anything but the pure shit. I don't have access to the pure shit so I don't really get a chance to fuck around with DXM.

It's easy to get addicted to DXM since it's cheap and easy to get ahold of. Once I started, I couldn't stop.

Disclaimer: The following statements are my personal experience, and only my experience. Your mileage may vary.

Wrong: I have been using DXM back in the days 2 - 3 times a week for 1 1/2 years non stop, and i was able to stop without the slightest sign of addiction. I know user on this board who have been using it like daily and have no signs of dependence or addiction.

Comparison:
I have been using opiates 4 - 5 times a week for 2 months, and i got horrid withdrawal symptoms after stopping my intake.

While there might be some mental craving and the thought "Wow, some DXM might be cool right now", it is physically not addictive. Your mental cravings i can't help, but i don't think DXM is considered an addictive drug.
Go through Opiate withdrawal (no, don't!) and then come back, and claim that DXM is addictive. I promise, your point of view will be forever changed :)

^^^ to some extend it actually does. But i found the negative effects to be nonexistent if i don't chug a bottle tuss but take the extracted DXM instead.
