Now I know many may get annoyed by repeated questions and respond "use the search", however the results I generally get from my query I find irrelevant or insufficient.
I'm interested if any users who meet the required conditions have successfully re-experienced the dxm 'magic' that is associated with the initial trips. In other words has anyone used dxm enough for it's effects to downgrade into a depressant of sorts, but have abstained long enough ( 1+ years) from it to return back and have an enjoyable experience (reignite the magic). Basically can time reverse the tolerance to this drug? I have abstained over 1 year, and then as an experiment, tried taking 2 bottles of syrup (~700mg) and had poor results. It's effects still felt like a depressant.
Many users posts are both too vague on how frequently they tripped and how many trips total. In my experience, I ignoring the established trip limit and recommended spacing of trips, took head on to this drug. I immediately gained interest and kept using it, eventually increasing up to 3x a week, however after the first 3 months noticing a decrease in effects, cut back significantly. I eventually took a month long break after 4 months of using. It was then I discovered zicam and decided it may be time to try out this new preparation. Zicam strangely enough, ( I imagine due to it's tremendous absorption rate) brought back the magic I had longed for. Sadly, the tolerance to zicam grew at a greater rate than had the syrups. Lastly, does anyone have knowledge of why dissociatives seem to have irreversible tolerances? I have also tried ketamine once, half a year after my hiatus from dxm, which was not as intense as I expected. It was taken with 2 friends who both had stronger effects than I.
