DXM and Tapentadol?

Hey, I was wondering if DXM and Tapentadol were safe to take together. An hour ago I took about 150 mg of DXM, and I was about to take 150 mg of Tapentadol before I remembered that they had similar mechanisms of action. Does anyone know if these two are safe to take together?

Absolutely not.

The combined hypertensive effects could be disastrous...

I highly recommend you not do this.

Yea, why I stopped to ask. Just waited for the DXM to wear off. Thanks for responding, I'll keep that in mind.
