dxm and pissing

are you sure cuz i never pee this much sober its weird and now that you said no im kind of paranoid that something might be wrong with my kidneys or something...lol...

nah...you are good, did you drink caffeine at all today or have alot of water?

sometimes it is hard to get it going dex, but DXM is not a diuretic

600mgs is quite much of DXM, maybe you're just trippin??

no no this happens all the time i have no idea why and i didnt really drink a lot of fluids today i finished 16oz of orange juice though and some sips of water here and there

This can happen a lot when tripping on any substance. I have it on dissociatives, I have it on psychedelics - I get this psychosomatic feeling where my brain isn't 100% sure if I need to piss or not, so I go anyway, which leads to me going to piss extremely often, and used to leave me thinking there was something wrong with me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't DXM, among other things, a potent SSRI?

And aren't SSRIs notorious not for making us piss more, but for making it incredibly difficult to urinate at all? Urinary retention and all that jazz.

I have alot of difficulty urinating on dxm. I never need to go more than normal, but when I do need to, it takes awhile. sometimes on high doses im completely unable to. one time I even had to be in the hospital catheterized for a week before I could urinate on my own. But as for you, I know a pretty fair amount of people who urinate WAY more than normal while theyre on dxm. so dont worry, thats just how your body reacts to it.

Both DXM and Ketamamine give me a bit of trouble urinating. Not terribly so, but entirely noticeable. Interesting that you seem to get a paradoxical response.

I wouldn't worry about it however, unless you start experiencing pain or other negative side effects.
