DXM and Phenylephrine

Well i have some Vick's 44 Custom Care Congestion and it has 20mg of dxm per tbs and 10mg of Phenylephrine
Im gonna take 500 mg of dxm but there is 250 mg of phenylephrine along with it at that dose. I have looked everywhere for dosages of phenylephrine but couldnt find anything. Would I be alright with that much?
I have tripped 3 or 4 times on dxm before
 
That is too much phenylephrine.

Don't do this. Find a better source of DXM (a source with only DXM and not other drugs in it).

It would not be a good idea to take these pills.

risking serious problems, and i doubt it would be pleasant along with the already stimulating effets of DXM
 
That would be extremely dangerous, absolutely do not do it. It should be easy to find a source of DXM with nothing else in it. Easier than having a medical emergency.

Haha sorry I didn't post back, but I didn't take them. I was just withdrawing from opiates and it was all I could get my hand on at the time, I just wanted something to somehow take my mind off it. Well its been a while since I've been on here I've been clean from opiates for about 6 months, my use got pretty ridiculous so I went to rehab and I am now on Suboxone maintenance.
 
Good for you kicking that stuff, and also taking the advice not to intoxicate yourself with a lot of phenylephrine. :)

Shall I close this for you? Unless there was anything else you want to share on the subject it seems like we have come to a conclusion.
