DXM And Liver Damage

Hey guys n gals im planing on doing DXM in the near furture and so is a good mate of mine problem is he has Hep C so he is worryed about damaging his liver.He has told me his liver count is at a good level.Will taking DXM fuck up his liver at all???I have done it a few times before so i know i can do it he has never done it before so hes a bit worryed.......

How much is he going to use?

DXM should be fairly safe for your liver, it's metabolism is not too hard on the organ. Of course, other active ingredients sometimes combined with DXM can cause problems. So make sure it is just DXM!

^ We can't give you sources for pure DXM. You could do an Agent Lemon extraction on it, but I wouldn't IM or IV that. DXM isn't a fun drug for me, I personally would have no desire to inject it but I haven't read any experience reports on it.

I've never heard of somebody administering DXM via IM or IV, and I can't recommend doing it either when oral use seems to get the job done just fine and there are plenty of risks associated with IM or IV administration.

I also wanted to echo Mr Blonde's point that other ingredients in whichever DXM preparation you're planning on using should also be researched when it comes to liver toxicity, of course.

We are planing on having 1 bottle of robotusin dry cough forte (no other chemical in it besides DXM) should reach the 2nd platue????

1 bottle each? Depends on your body weights, with my low weight a whole bottle sends me into a fairly strong 3rd plateau where I hold imaginary meetings in my bedroom with the characters from The Wire and stumble around trying to robo-walk away evil spirits chasing me around.

I used to take it when i was 15 i would drink 1 bottle each time it would just make me feel like i've had ALOT of codeine and yeah i walked like a robot.but never had meeting with people in my head lol i was told by my sister that 1 time she walked into my room i was butt naked on the floor scratching my arms like crazy saying the bees are stinging me the bees are stinging me.....i have gained about 10-15 KG since then.....Right now i weigh about 75-80KG and my mate weighs like 90 somthing kilos.......want would be the best platue for a first time....The first time i did it i drank the whole bottle and enjoyed it from then on in i would have a bottle each time :)
 
I'm pretty sure DXM itself is safe on your liver, it's if you take it orally through pills the bindings can mess up your liver, that's typically only after lots & lots of use though.

If you use pure powder or syrup you'll be fine.
 
Well I was speaking in regards to the Robitussin Gel caps although I could be completely wrong.

The main problem anyways is people taking it with acetaminophen and CPM.
