i was told that if u drank say a bottle of robotussin, the dxm lowers ur heroin level. is this true? if so, how well does it work. will i b able 2 not do any heroin the next day and not get sick? and also, if i don't do any heroin while im on dxm, will i still get dope sick? and is it okay 2 mix dxm and dope? thanks peeps...
 
Imo, DXM shouldnt be mixed with anything. LArge recreational doses of it have a high enough potential to cause health problems. Also, heroin is nice and DXM is so lame. Why fuck up a heroin high with junk. Not really answering your questions now am I.
What do you mean by "dxm lowers ur heroin level"? And why would you get dope sick if you didnt do any heroin?
 
heroin, for me, overrides almost all other drugs. i imagine i wouldn't even notice the effects of dxm if i was high. i have never tried mixing the two though since i find dxm nasty and boring. and, no offense, but why the hell would you want dxm when you have heroin?
 
mr. d:the term "dope sick" refers to the sickness that goes with being addicted to dope and not having any.
 
That sounds kinda unpleasant at psychedelic doses...
If you're going to do this, which experience tells me you probably are (not picking on you, just commenting on people in general), I'd keep the dosage low at first (50 mg., maybe?) and see if that potentiates the effects.
There isn't a concrete sense of "drug math" to go by, but you might be looking at:
increased nausea
increased sedation
really bad robo-itch (which is more annoying than anything)
I'd say go for it, but at a low initial dose.
 
First, as I have been saying a lot - ignore the greenlight noise (Binary) ..
DXM will GREATLY reduce ones tollerance for opioids, also, it can help potenate the drugs effects...
Drink A BOTTLE? Yeah, only if you want to trip .. no, you only tke a few times the suggested dose (a few caps) about 45 minutes before you plan to fix... yes, like the Imodium thing, it DOES work!-
 
hey this is his girlfriend...and what he means by getting dope sick is~ me & him are addicted to heroin and if we dont do it every couple hours we start gettin sick, and we wanted to do DXM to get down our tolerance so we could stop instead of just stopping completly when we would be doing about 12 bags a day each. and for us, heroin dont get us that high and fucked up, it just takes away our sickness and makes us feel pretty good. so we wanna do DXM not to trip or to feel the effects, we wanna do it to get down our tolerance and if we did it, would we be alright not doing heroin or would we get sick??? does everyone understand what my bf is trying to say now???

Unfortunately DXM won't help your addiction... you'll still get dope-sick if you stop. What it will do is reduce your tolerance, so you can use less to keep the sickness at bay.
Like Phreex said, just do a few times the recommended dose, a little before you shoot.
Also watch out, and don't do as much as you normally would... I OD'd once cause I didn't think it'd make much difference....
 
Just a friendly reminder - the poster did not ask for opinions about his heroin use, he asked about using DXM and heroin... some of you are either stupid, or have reedeeng kompreehinshun problumz -because I had to delete SEVERAL REPIES from people that were not answering said questions, but instead giving some diatribe about the evils of heroin use.... must EVERY HEROIN THREAD take that route? Sorry, it ain't gunna fly here ..
ALSO if someone makes a reply like that please do not comment about how their reply is out of place because by doing this, you are making a reply that makes just as much noise as the reply in question, I must then delete your reply even though you ment well! ..

I don't think anyone stressed that dxm and heroin both do the breathing supression. Dxm in low doses with dope should be ok but if you attempt to robotrip and get smacked it could very well lead to an OD. I know thats not what you were planning on doing but its good just to keep in mind some potentially dangerous combos.
btw i am getting really sick of the bullshit on this board but i won't get into that
