DXM and greasy food

Ive read many places that if you plan on doing DXM, to avoid greasy food all day
now, i ate some french fries from Dell Taco about an hour ago and i plan on doing DXM tonight, ill be dosing around 10pm and 11pm
just a small amount, 360mg
now ive read many places you should avoid greasy food but not why :/
is it cuz of the consistancy of the grease and syrup mixing and not agreeing?

If i dose at 10pm-11pm will ill be okay even though i ate the french fries around 3pm?

Nausea and Other Gastric Disturbances



Category: Frequent

Probably the most commonly reported side effect is nausea, most likely a simple result of gagging down a bottle or two of cough syrup or a bunch of big gelcaps. People who use the gelcap or capsule preparations do not, in general, experience as much nausea, although DXM itself, like peyote, can occasionally cause nausea (this is less common than nausea from syrups). DXM free base and "Agent Lemon" (see Section 11) seem to cause the least amount of nausea.

Many cough syrup preparations can cause considerable amounts of bloating and gas. Expect to pass gas for the next day. Stomach cramps and other gastric disturbances, probably from the amount of sugars and thickeners, are also common. Preparations with guaifenesin tend to induce vomiting at recreational DXM levels. Mixing DXM with large amounts of alcohol can have the same effect; one poor individual who mixed DXM with a large quantity of alcohol vomited for over two hours.

Serotonin syndrome (see Section 6.2.9) is another possible cause of nausea and diarrhea, but doesn't seem to occur except when DXM is combined with other serotonergic drugs (mainly antidepressants).

Mix grease in with that. Now most of the time when people tripp on dxm they throw up. Peices of french fry hurts when your thowing that shit up.

EDIT: In looking over this im really intrested in this now...goes to show you that looking over the "basics" can lead to enlightenment.

haha thank god i didnt take those anti-depressants the neruologist wanted to give me for migraines (zuh?)

Personally, I don't see any problem here. I suppose the "risk" that is raised by greasy food + DXM is nausea and vomiting. But, it seems you have had plenty of time since your heavy meal, so I doubt it will be a factor.

I don't really get very much nausea from DXM anyway (I do frequently get gas and diarrhea on it though), but many people do. With substances such as DXM, if you puke you puke, that's just the way it is. Only one way to find out.

yea i highly doubt greasy foods are going to do anything to your dxm trip.

it does nothing, besides make you break out maybe

i seriously ate five big macs on 400mg (my tweaker friend had the same ammount as well; we spanged off mexicans (luckily he knew how to ask for spare change in spanish.))
and drank a nasty green tilt in the mcdonalds bathroom

i dont puke on dxm (or anything else for that matter) so it was fine, for me; but
i never had roboshits so bad, the next day
