DXM and auditory hallucinations

Almost every time I take DXM, I hear something that sounds like a static radio...sometimes itll sound like some music is playing(the music always varies, usually classical or sounding like loud, but muffled drumming) and then its like a quick static noise as if changing the channel or something. Its pretty hard to explain.
I don't hear voices or anything on DXM, but almost always hear music of some sort...Why does this happen and is it normal?

haha, i heard pokemon battle music (from the gameboy) the second time i tripped on DXM, I could even match up when one pokemon did an attack based on the sounds, funny thing is i havent played a gameboy in ten years....

RIGHT. Why does this happen?! It's so weird, and at times a little unsettling.

I just chocked it up to an effect of dex, I can still hear it when there is loud indirect noise (like a fan, or static from the radio) auditory hallucinations ARE a common side effect...

I often hear a static or gear grinding noise on dissociatives, generally when I'm approaching a hole.

Yesterday a friend an i downed two bottles of vicks nyquil each and we both heard weird thing. The thing i mostly heard was music i had been listening to that day was so vivid in my mind that i thought my phone was playing music out loud. DXM is a fun drug and the Auditory hallucinations make it even better.

Its due to your mind linking things together that don't belong together. Its like your hard drive has porn, music and pictures, so when you open up a picture, it looks like porn and plays music at the same time.

There are dex-holes? If so, im almost positive I must've experienced it probably multiple times.
I use to take almost 3000mgs almost every day...I'm just lucky I'm not dead or anything.
