Good evening,
I recently bought some DXM cough syrup from a huge internet retailer for the first time. I order two bottles of Robitussin 4oz and one bottle of Delsym 5oz. Both containing only DXM and/or DXM polistirex. I have little experience of psychedelics including Mescaline and LSA, both extracted from a San Pedro Cactus and Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds, basically stuff I can get legally online. This time I used some old gift cards and decided to buy/try DXM for the first time.
They didn't take long to come into the mail only took about a week. I first opened up the Robitussin, I poured both of the 4oz bottles into a glass. I had another glass filled with Kool-Aid and had the kitchen sink running. I held my nose, chugged some Robitussin, without taking a breath I took a shot of Kool-Aid. I repeated this until I drank all of the syrup and then brushed my teeth. I didn't feel to bad or had any nausea so I decided to take my dog for a walk and take a shower. After about 1 hour my stomach felt like complete crap, so I decided to go lay on my bed for a while. While I was nodding off, I stood up immediately and vomited all over my carpet, still all drowsy I walked to my kitchen and Vomited more in my sink. I just stayed at my sink for the next 20 minutes wanting this to end. I then start itching my head and when I tried to stop it was extremely painful like my hair was on fire. I think I vomited it more than half of it up so nothing fun came out, no hallucinations or closed eye visuals just really hard to think and walk.
That "trip" was no fun so I wait a week later to try the Delsym. I can never stand the taste or texture of cough syrup anymore so I did the delsym extraction with a empty milk carton and just drank the sludge at the bottom without letting dry into powder. It wasn't that bad it was like just taking a couple of shots of water filled with sand which contained 888mg of DXM polistirex. Along with it I had a Pepsi, 25mg of Benedryl, and 2 Tums for the nausea.
I drank the Sludge at 9 AM, felt nothing for the next 2 hours. Then I became extremely nauseous but no vomiting at around 11 AM which lasted for about 2 hours so I went to my bed again and nodded off to sleep. No itching or vomiting which was good just rather very uncomfortable. I got up at around 12:30 PM with no nausea. I forgot I took DXM and as soon as I stood up I completely felt like I dropped 2 feet and remembered that earlier I took DXM. I start walking around which was quite fun, and sit on my couch to watch some TV. Everything felt very far away as I sat on my cough relaxed, no hallucinations so I decide to go back to my room and lay in bed.
I lay on my bed with no pillow and my blanket over my whole body including face so it is completely dark. I grab my laptop and plug in my PS4 headphone and start playing some trippy "space" music, very dramatic and intense. I close my eyes and wait a while until I start seeing more than just colors but the music was so dramatic I felt like I was in the movie Interstellar traveling through space. It was like a dream, I saw a lot of space blackness, and sometimes circular colors would pop up looking like planets. They would get larger as I felt like they would come closer to me then disappear. I literally felt like I was traveling through space with a very fast ship and it felt like my mattress was bending all different ways and my legs were sunk into it. The song was only 10 minutes but it felt like I just went through the galaxy for 1 hour. I play another trippy "darker" style song. All I see is greyish red, then it looked like metal bright red orbs were coming for me. Like a bunch of Neon red bowling balls attracted to my "feet". Both of these were pretty fun and felt like 2 hours but in reality it was only 20 minutes.
It was about 2 PM now, my brother is getting back from school at 2:20 so I get up and try to act sober. I don't feel nauseous anymore but extremely energized like I just took some amphetamine. I don't feel my body anymore, I currently have a broken clavicle but didn't even feel pain as I poked the bone coming out my skin. I went back on to the couch and noticed some car came and parked in front of my driveway. Out came a construction worker, he walked across my yard into my neighbors yard and disappeared. After about a minute he walked up into my driveway than walked on my sidewalk to my door and knocked on it. I came to answer it, and you know it he was gone, no one, but there was still his car. I walk back over to my couch and car is gone. Probably one of the most realistic hallucinations I have ever seen. It wasn't scary or anything but just really weird.
That was basically all the hallucinations I experience through my DXM trip. I still did not feel my whole body for the next few hours. I was picking up everything with my right arm with the broken clavicle and it felt like it weighed like a nickle. I picked up bags of charcoal, chairs, and it felt like absolutely nothing. Wasn't the greatest idea because the next day, my clavicle was in intense pain and I pulled it out of place even more. From this experience I had a pretty fun time, probably won't do DXM again and just stick to other psychedelics.
