Dxm 4th plateau

So yesterday at about 9pm i dosed 600mg dxm robo gels (young and weigh around 105lbs)
I couldn't sleep last night and still continue to feel a "hangover" today " Tryed sleeping again numerous times today without any luck.
I recently found out that taking SSRIs and MAOIs with high does of DXM can cause serotonin syndrome , and i've been taking Paxil (SSRI) for the last couple months :S.
Anything i can do to get rid of the after-glow affect of DXM and sleep it off?

After-glow? Are you feeling good because it sounds as if you're feeling a bit shitty now, from your description anyway.

Mixing DXM with your SSRI's is dangerous though; although there's nothing you can do about that now as you've already done it, but just be thankful serotonin syndrome didn't hit you, it's fucking disgusting and potentially life threatening! If you're going to do DXM again, don't take your SSRI's for a few days prior. This obviously may not be possible if you're on quite a high dose of Paxil as you may have withdrawel symptoms; in which case, miss a days use of Paxil and use a lower dose of DXM.

In the name of harm reduction though, you should probably not use DXM until you're off the SSRIs.

I'd say take some sleeping tablets if you have any, there shouldn't be any negative interactions but I'd say hold on until someone with a bit more knowledge has a read of this thread.

Yah basically feel like shit right now was the highest dxm dose i've done.

I wish i found out earlier about the SSRI's and DXM interactions before dosing 600mgs
I didn't take paxil this mornin though .
For sure not goin near DXM while Im on ssri's from now on--
