This is my first post so I hope I do this correctly, please lead me in the right direction if I am not. I am somewhat of a novice dxm tripper, somewhere around 5 times or so. I started at 200mgs, 300, now this. around 8 pm I took a bottle of robo cough gels equaling 300mg and some max strength robo syrup, the total dose 450mg. I kicked back and played an rpg, record of agerast war on my xbox 360 as I waited for the dose to kick in. It usually takes about an hour to feel the effects, probably because I split the dose with the gels to cut back on nausea, if that actually works. around 9pm I start to feel floaty, I test when it starts by lifting my legs, when I start to feel like I'm on the moon, I know its working. by 9:30, I am having extreme difficulty playing the game. It requires a decent strategy and amount of planning. It takes me about 20 mins to complete a single battle. I think to myself, if I use this attack, then that attack.. wait. would that work on a wolf? wolves are smart, I should use this attack. I then wondered if what I was doing was justified. I was killing creatures, but why? for what reason? are they evil? perhaps I am the evil one. My internal conflict caused me to get lost in my own thoughts. My character leveled up, and so did the real me. I felt a surge of power and knowledge course through my body. At 10pm, there was a scene in the game. It was night by a lake, and there were shooting stars. There was a peaceful/mystical music playing that relaxed me. The scene was too surreal. I was so entranced by the visuals and audio that I had to give up, I could no longer understand or play this game. I then put on my favorite music, 90s alternative rock on pandora and put on headphones. I can remember that the music was so deep and vivid. Each song that I listened to was a separate world that I visited. The songs lasted an average of 4 minutes but I took a full journey with each one. This continued for another hour until my thoughts cleared up, thus ending my trip.

Music is often the best addition to DXM trips. I'd recommend something like Mushroom Jazz, which i'm listening to now. Pretty much anything you do is going to be more "involving" and deep - that's part of the pleasure of DXM, IME.

haha ill have to try out some psychedelic themed music. I feel like that would really take my mind out there
