DXM 4 days after SSRI?

Ok so I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience with this. I have been on 20mg of citalopram daily for only 10 days and decided to quit because of the unpleasent side effects. So to the question, would taking 150mg with 4.5g of shrooms be likely to cause problems after 4 solid days off of the SSRI? I figured its a low enough dose of dxm.

What I'm worried about is seritonin syndrome, I know dxm and mushrooms potentiate each other so what I was wondering if this could contribute to seritonin syndrome. So in short form, since mushrooms potentiate dxm(and vice versa) could it possibly also increasee the chance of seritonin syndrome? Moreso than if the dxm was taken by itself?

No that combination wouldn't cause serotonin syndrome. But I'm pretty sure 4 days is not long enough to be off of an SSRI and start taking drugs. Although I'm not completely sure about this but I would think a week or two would seem more fit. I would think you should wait at least 10 days or so before trying.

Oh I know the combo itself will not cause seritonin syndrome, what I meant was will the mushrooms have any effect on the likely hood of it reacting with any possible trace amount of SSRI left in my system, or any lasting effect the SSRI has left on my seritonin receptors. since it potentiates the dxm?

But yes I agree the logical thing to do would be wait a while, I was wonder if anyone on here has tried any recreational amount of dxm shortly after ceasing a SSRI
