Greetings, everyone. I've been the obligatory lurker for a while now and I wanted to introduce myself before I possibly begin to contribute.

My long story made short is that for over 15yrs I was a high functioning alcoholic, clocking an average of one gallon of cheap vodka every other day. That of course lead to severe health issues including acute and chronic pancreatitis and being almost dying a few times.

I've spent approximately 200 days in a hospital within the last 6 years. A myriad other health issues resulted and after having a major procedure in 22, I became addicted to opiates.

That has been quite a struggle in the sense that I am in chronic pain and with the US regulations, my healthcare team faces growing scrutiny in providing the medication required to provide relief.

Now I'm just researching and gathering much information from those with similar experiences. I have turned, perhaps softly, to other drugs on the street to provide me relief.

This is already turning into a novel so I'll stop here, again, greetings to all and a massive appreciation for those giving their experience and knowledge!

I see you guys unapproved this again, I searched for it on google and the was able to read and post for some reason. This thread was originally kept just for TDS staff as a place to share and easily find commonly used info.

Respect on you taking it upon yourself to learn about the drugs and medications you need/will be using. Welcome to bluelight man!

healthcare and drug policy in the United States is wild, now more than ever, hope you have good luck navigating all the hoops they make you jump through for treatment

Thank you, that is much appreciated. I'm reading and soaking up as much information as possible.

I'm very grateful that I Iearned about bluelight and I'm not sure exactly how much I'm able to help out and positively contribute quite yet, but the idea of having the opportunity to do so while I continue researching feels pretty good in and of itself.
