Duration of Withdrawal and a Drug's Half Life Time

For opioids it is said that the duration of withdrawal is in relation to an opioid's half life. Acute heroin withdrawal takes maybe one week but methadone withdrawal takes maybe two weeks. Methadone has a much longer half life than heroin.

Severity of withdrawal symptoms shall be in relation to the amounts of the opioids taken.
Is this the same for all other drugs or is this only the case for opioids?

I thought of GHB/GBL. It has a relative short half life and I think, people wrote that withdrawal is not loo long. Shall be OK after 3, 4 days.

I never made a benzodiazepine withdrawal. Is there a difference between maybe diazepam (half life 24-48 hours and metabolites have a still longer half life) and midazolam (1.5-2.5 hours)? Would diazepam withdrawal take longer than midazolam withdrawal?

Phenibut seems to have a long half time. The effect is subtile and creeping. And cannot say when the effect actually sets in or how long it really works. But when I take it in the morning I still feel good until I lay me down to sleep at night. So probably it has a longer half life time. How long does a withdrawal take? Should be longer than GBL withdrawal then. Right?
