Misc Duloxetine + Tramadol

I take 40mg of Cymbalta in 2 divided doses of 20mg a day. If I took a day off of the Cymbalta, could I safely take tramadol? I'm not willing to even try taking them together now - but maybe seperate?
 
It has a half-life of 12 hours and chances are that it has built up in your system. A day off isn't going to be long enough to do the tramadol safely. I would not use the tramadol while you are taking this med due to the risk of serotonin syndrome.
 
Yes I would agree with Blonde totally.
When I was scripted Tramadol for my knees & back I stopped taking my Dosulepin for a good 2 days before I tried it out. Better safe than sorry ;)

Small doses together shouldn't pose a problem, but I was too paranoid to even do that so I took action.
