Dud water extracted cactus-tar trip.

Hello

Last night I downed a slow crock-pot acidifyd water simmered, stained, tar extract of about 60 grams of Icarios outer green tissuse...to very disappointing results.

I have had good results powdering this product, then dumping about 50 grams of this into a half gallon of cheap 100 proof vodka, lettiung it soak about 2 weeks, shaking several times aday, then straining and evaporating into a tar, which I roll into balls and swallow.

But I'm too impatient for that now!

So is there any way I can get this stuff into me fsst without to much gagging, My thought is to powder it, add enough water to form a past, thin the past out fast to a liquid suspension and downing it in one or two big gulps...but I don't know if it will slime up too fast for that.

Sooooooo any tips, suggestions, advice on this fast delivery system will be much appreciated...cuz I'm owed a trip.
 
Mescaline is patience. You won't get anything for at least 24 hours. I wrote this cactus tek a few years ago.

step 1: defatting
-put 60g of dried san pedro cactus in water and soak in the fridge for 24 hours with 1 sqeezed lemon
-bring the mix to a boil and let it boil down until a thick sludge forms on the surface, remove this film periodically and add more water when necessary, continue boiling and readding water for at least 5 hours and skim off any fat that floats to the surface during that period

step 2: sediment, straining and concentrating
-the liquid should turn from a green to a greenish brown, add an equal amount of water with a squeezed lemon, shake vigerously and store in the fridge for 24 hours
-with most of the fat removed the plant matter should have settled to the bottom, use a turkey baster to draw off the water in between the plant sediments and the fatty bubbles at the surface, put this water in a pot ready to be heated on the stove, begin boiling this mix
-add more water to the plant matter, shake vigerously, and store in the fridge for an hour
-draw off the water as before and add it to the mixture already boiling down on the stove
-(optional) wash the plant matter with yet more water, shake and store for another hour, then add it to the mix
-(optional) strain the mix to remove any lemon pulp
-boil the mixture down til there is a manageable amount left to drink. it should be a dark brown almost black. you may notice a fatty film form on the surface, if this forms just skim it off as before
-let cool and drink, makes one strong dose

notes: the more fat removed the easier the tea is on the stomach. use high heat to denature the fats. mescaline is relatively stable and not easily destroyed by heat

if it tastes good you did it wrong. adding brown sugar to the finished tea may make it more drinkable

don't eat for 6-8 hours before dosing

nausea seems to be a property of mescaline. relax, avoid movement, and if you must throw up within 30 minutes understand you may waste some of it.

you may begin to feel strange within 30 minutes, but the real experience kicks in between 1:20 and 2 hours

what does it feel like? a really heavy lsd trip.
 
Thanks for the tec...haven't seen this one before, the skimming/deffatinng steps are new to me. I'm curious about the first soak in the fridge..not sure what the reason for this is. I may give this tec a try, it sounds real good.

I gave my extract a lonooong simmer in a crock-pot with lemon juice.adding water qas needed, about 24 hours of simmering. The chips were un-powdered for better settling and straining, as I was told this works fine. The gell=capped extract was old. about 3 years, but I was told mescaline has a real long half-life and didn't think this would matter, maybe it did.

I just drink it straight....meditate beforehand f you're apprehensive of the texture/flavor. It only touches your tongue for like 10 seconds...small price to ay for such an enlightening exp. My ex with extractins is never anywhere near as profound, even if i consume a fully extracted 2x amt. I did alcohol ta extracts and an a/b hcl once. They both worked, but it took double the material and still was far less submerssive of an exp.

Just fast and then meditate and then chug cactus :-)

When you stir it in its a sandy goop...you have two options at this point...drink the sandy sludge...or wait 15-30 min and you then have texture #2: snot :-)
 
One time I took OO capsules and stufed a 30g dose into like 30 pills lol. Not worth it IMO, I'll stick to tastin my catus friend.
 
Once I managed to boil my tea down to about 5oz and took it in a huge shot for breakfast. Very good day.

The initial 24 hour soak gives the cactus' alkaloids greater time to transfer to the water. Allows for better product yield. "Washing" the plant matter multiple times does this too. I typed out a detailed step-by-step process last time I brewed but I can't find it, but that tek I posted should work. I had many 'duds' when I first started brewing mescaline tea, but through trial and error I found a method that works. Like Thoughtsunthought says you can straight drink the cactus dissolved in water, but it's nasty, nauseating and really does take on the consistency of snot.

Brewing cactus tea is all about A) getting rid of the plant fat, and then B) getting rid of the plant matter itself while keeping as much of the active alkaloids possible.

The defatting stage is very easy and all that's required is boiling the cactus/water/citric acid mix for around 5 hours, or until a film stops developing on the surface of the water. This "film" is very sticky and can be removed easily with a fork. Periodically remove it and dispose of it. I've tried the croc-pot technique and found it doesn't get hot enough to denature the cactus fats, and thus won't develop that frothy film on the surface.

Finally once you've defatted your cactus mix you'll want to add the boiled mixture to a transparent container like a tall, mason jar and add an equal amount of fresh water to aid in the sediment stage. Once the plant fats are removed the plant matter can easily settle to the bottom of the jar, and this may take hours. Then you'll want to get a turkey baster and suck up the water between the settled plant matter and any fatty bubbles still on the surface, and add it to a pot to boil it down to a drinkable amount on a heating element like so:
