I like rap and rock and I like dubsteb and I like when they are mixed together, but I dont know whats out there.


Can you guys recommend me some dubstep remix albums plz? They can be rap or rock or something else that maybe Ive never heard, but they have to be remixes of another song.

otherwise, its electronic music with heavy bass, usually with what are known as wobbles (wound weird until you hear them, then there really is no other explanation) at 140 bpm, although since the drums are usually going at half time, you could also say its at 70 bpm

by contrast, most house music is about 125 bpm

Just have a browse through the various dubstep threads in this forum and have a listen for yourself! Then you will need no explanation :)
 
hey. actually there's about to be another grungestep compilation coming out... and the slacker crunk lp i put up on there contains a nix blend of grunge, cutting edge electronica, and hip hop.. a very fun listen. plus you can listen to the whole thing for free if you like. you can put in a few bucks if ya want the album to download but you know, listening is still free... and as we speak im uploading the Skwunc Compilation, which is a real hodge podge of music... ya might dig on that too.. anyway, props to atri for mentioning grungestep. in a few weeks there will be a second one!
