Drying mushrooms and preservation alternatives

it don't even matter for me anyway, all of the tiny undeveloped mushrooms seemed to have died and I had two massive ones and 1 medium sized one already opened their caps without me even being able to predict that it happened so fast, so I picked them and made them into tea (first time) smells of cat piss and looks like chalky water, I'm just waiting for the right day to take it. Eugh! drinking that is going to be a chore.

You know, you can't store tea indefinitely - it will spoil faster than plain water since there are nutrients in it for bacterial growth. Keep it in the fridge or you could even freeze it. There aren't any organic cellbodies in the tea like in mushroom fruits.

Yes I know that I've done my research, people have said store it for a week at most, but I only plan on storing it for 2 or 3 days
