Anybody know anything about drying acetone to make it anhydrous.? I heard something about dehydrating epson salt and mixing it with then acetone to dry most of the 2% of water,.... Or does anyone know where i can buy some anhydrous acetone? Thanks
Dried epsom salt(MgSO4) might dry the acetone enough for what I think you'll use it for. To get it really dry use dry potassium carbonate(sodium carbonate might work), dry calcium sulfate or 4A molecular sieve.
