Well, after about 15 years of Techno i have finally given up on the genre, the last few years of electro-clash & minimal (yuppies trying to be punk) and 'Schranz', NGOTH, Hard-Tek (uneducated savagery (in a bad way

)) - my patience has been tried to its limits. There is some good stuff still - as in all genres - i just dont have the patience anymore to sift through 5 hour sets for 15 minutes of magic.
I allways liked D&B ever since it came to exist - Guess i listened some of it in 98 - 2000 period : 'Through the Wormhole'/Ed Rush & Optical - Grooverider - Photek - Goldie - Raiden - Panacea. After that i sometimes did a little refresh : Bad Company - London Electricity, u know, the big names on the radio....
Just couldn't listen to it for extended periods of time. So a few months back i started
practising listening to D&B - like rerouting that 4/4 pattern in my brain - and i'm finally getting it.
Ishkur kindly introduced me to Neurofunk (at least to his definition of Neurofunk = the Audio Blueprint label) and herein lies the problem.
Feature this : its 2005, u think Jungle and Drum & Bass are the 2 only flavours of the genre - u vaguely heard the term 'Darkstep' once, but u think the artists & listeners have since died of devil worship, so you will never get to know what that sounded like. The internet connects to you and all of a sudden you hear 'Psion - Reverse Engineering' - you cream your pants.
I want more, but only in that exact style, so i find these :

DJ Autopsy - Pulse - 07.11.2005

DJ Autopsy is
a lot harder than Xplizit, but still what i consider Neurofunk though its probally Techstep ? Anyway it has the same futuristic feel to it, like human-alien hybrids have landed and started growling and barking at us with their brain controll devices. (in a nice way off course

)
I tried some Dieselboy mixes but thet just dont give me the same pantcreaming experience, same with Psy Clone & Chris J.
So if u have any suggestions i would be kinda gratefull (really).
Allso is 'GrindStep' a genre too - or just a way of saying it's a really nasty type of Tech/Dark/Whatever Step ?
Sorry to take up so much space ...
