drugs you can't and can quit...

Things I can easily quit:
Alcohol: I always thought it was a dirty drug. I used to drink a little bit too much but then realized it was fucking stupid. Being hungover all the time and sleeping with random people and shit. Not fun.
Weed: Already quit this. Gets me paranoid and lazy. I'm an active person and don't like to just sit on my ass and eat Hot Pockets all day.

Things I can't quit:
Opiates: I guess I could quit them, since I recently went cold turkey and have been clean for six days, but god damn, I don't want too. I'm sick of stealing shit from parents and friends to support it, but I am too mentally addicted to give it up. I don't know what to do with my day if I don't get high at least once.

I'm currently trying to quit opiates in general. The main one now being suboxone and unfortunately i got an opana connect for a week or two. Nicotene is second on the list but just as hard. I bought a throw-away e-cig a few days ago to help ease my way down but still smoke in between. They seem to work as far as curbing the cravings though.

I'm currently using benzo's but that's partially to help with the suboxone cessation and am not addicted to them (just like them ALOT). I only use them a couple days every 4-8 weeks. I wouldn't consider that dependent. Smoke when a friend burns one but don't buy it myself anymore. So the only thing i'm really hooked on now is nicotene and suboxone.

I can't quit cigarettes right now. But I plan on quitting once I finish college - cold turkey.

The reasoning being that I will hate the nic withdrawl coupled with the stress of my work load. Plus, I like smoking when I'm drunk. The two go hand in hand. No point quitting now and then sparking one up when I'm hammered or around smokers. When I quit, I want to quit forever. I don't see how people can have the 'occasional' cigarette, or go through a pack a week. I'll never be an 'occasional' user. It just won't work.

Cigarettes Good luck on quitting something that so readily available.

Oxycontin/Opiates Good luck on quitting something that so god damn good.

Can't quit opiates. I have been using oxycontin since 2006 and have recently increased my usage of that and added dilaudid to the mix, using tramadol and methadone during dry spells, or to help w/ the w/d's.

Can quit/have quit nicotine. I quit smoking in 2008. Have I smoked a cigarette since then ? Yes, but not many; less than a handful to be honest. I Had been smoking 1/2 + daily for 5 years before that. Not too shabby.

COULD quit taking benzos (permanently) at anytime, I believe. I have a steady prescription but do not take them daily, not even weekly. I take them when panic attacks bombard me.

Im pretty sure i can quit ciggarettes...if i really try. i got down to one a day a while ago and just started again but i think if i tried it wouldnt be toooo hard.

Alcohol i can go for a long time without but once i take a shot i cant stop till i get anymore lol
