I really need a good cry. I can feel it. Wondering if there is a drug that I can try that can be the catalyst of that. Have any drugs made you cry? And which ones? I'm thinking about buying some lsd again and listening to sad piano music. What are your opinions?

I can't think of any drugs that straight up made me cry. I've seen people get overly emotional from alcohol though I think that's a lousy suggestion. If you need a good cry, try watching a sad movie and just let it out.

A lot of drugs seem to dampen this type of emotion. Opiates specifically.. if you quit taking opiates suddenly while addicted it is very easy to cry and be over emotional. I would NOT recommend getting hooked on opiates just to experience a good cry though.

Psychedelics may be your best but they are inherently unpredictable so you may not find what your looking for.

I've seen and experienced crying on empathogens, like MDMA, but usually those are tears of joy not sorrow (but not always).

I second (or third) the advice of using sad TV or movies to get things going. The right kind of music may even do it.

A good honest cry would probably be better than something facilitated by drugs... But to each their own.

Came here to say this. I start tearing up over the stupidest things in withdrawal.

When I take too much nicotine sometimes I have a few tears but thats not emotionally related just increases eye moisture from muscarine cholinergic poisoning

Whats human resources got to do with this noone grabbed anyones butt.

Funny, I use to keep the tears at bay lol. Anyway, I've cried on shrooms during a bad trip, but I really don't recommend it.

An ample dose of Percocets while feeling highly anxious had a habit of causing me to cry.

Hey,
ketamine can occasionally evoke a pretty emotional response. In usual, happy, excited states, e.g. en route to an anticipated, lovely festival with mates, in our bus.... yup, all of a sudden crying for all the loss & changes I'd neglected to address.
Cathartic, weird but helpful.
That was years ago, then happened again just last week

I find shampoo in the eyes really makes me go from macho man to crying. Should of stuck to baby shampoo.

Lyrica makes me cry. Sometimes it's a cry of happiness and appreciation, sometimes it's just to get a good cry out. It's the only thing I can think of.
