Drugs that make you better........

for me the only drugs that has maybe made me a better person would be lsd and dmt. before lsd i was in a bit of a loop with depression and anxiety but after experimenting with lsd i "got deep inside my own mind" and almost mentally created a mind map of all my negatives and posatives. i outlined the changes that i needed to make to improve my life and it also really really helped me with my art work. after using dmt i simply just felt inspired by life and i felt really optimistic about most situations. i have learnt to analyse situations better and make better choices. although mdma made me feel outstanding, i abused it and then it abused me. the same goes for cannabis!

Ketamine for me, completely.

Not because it told me secret truths (which it felt like it did).
Not because it made me feel amazing (which it did).
Not because it has that excellent "brain rinse and reset" function sometimes.

But because it allowed me to see and feel things that were so unreal, so fantastical that they can't be properly described. It literally showed me different ways of existential Being. When I worked out after many years that all it showed me was games, puzzles in my own mind, it didn't matter, because it had simply shown me that it was possible to experience other ways of Being, which is possibly the greatest change of perspective you can get.

Well said. I'm off the Ketamine now but I still feel bloody amazing all day, definately the afterglow off the stuff is unmatched by anything else I have ever done. Even 4 drops of the cleanest liquid acid I've seen doesn't provide that kind of afterglow.

I've also been able to enjoy the odd spliff again, not making a habbit of being a stoner again!

Yeah ketamine is pretty amazing tbh. It totally makes me feel better generally, less depressed, more social, more open etc, for days after use. Had some incredible experience whilst on it as well, ones that blow any psychedelic experiences i've had out the water in terms of sheer fun. Definately not one to abuse though. Treat it with respect and it'll do the same to you.

Oh and LSD. But that's more short term for me. Particularly if I have a difficult experience, the day after is pure bliss.

Psychedelics are really the only drugs that have had a positive real impact on me.
I still remember vividly the day I took my first two drop dose of LSD and after going through a bit of a rough period - My fathers death one of the major contributing factors - and the clarity with which I saw thing around me was inexplicable. Different forms of thought patterns and new branches that would never have been accessed otherwise. The self analysis and reflection that psychedelics provide are very beneficial I find.
Dissasociatives and stimulants have lead to nothing but abuse from me however much my hedonistic head says they're great. Still have a raging Ketamine habbit despite my original attraction being the psychedelic hole now becoming less attainable.
