If someone was to be ailed by a mild cardiovascular problem - say, heart-strain or hypertension - what drugs would be recreationally usable, and which ones would be utterly inadvisable (besides, obviously, stimulants)?

Of course, drug-taking with a heart condition is foolish irrespective of the substance consumed, but if one is simply determined to get intoxicated....

Not stimulants (eg. methamphetamine, dextroamphetamine, methylphenidate, cocaine, MDMA etc). Some serotonergics (eg. LSD, psilocybin) could possibly induce bradycardia and/or cardiotoxicity. Synthetic cannabinoids are reported to cause tachycardia.

These kind of threads are largely speculative, and speculating on heart disease could be the difference between life and death. Ask your doctor, or any doctor so they give you a full and concise list. Not strangers who may not be concerned about legal, ethical, or moral ramifications that could arise from providing you with a false response.

Closed. Feel free to PM me if you need anything.
