drugs seem to hit harder in warm weather?

idk if it's been discussed, but has anyone ever noticed that drugs seem to work better when it's warm and sunny out? for example; i've been smoking cigarettes for a long time and usually don't feel much of a buzz, but since the weather has been nice everytime i smoke a cig it feels like it did when i first started. same thing with opiates too, i usually have a moderate to high tolerance for opiates but today i took a dose that world normally just have me buzzin and i have to admit i was pretty doped out. it's probably just all in my head but i was wondering if this happens to anyone else.

Set and setting.

These make a HUGE difference to a subjective feeling of drugs. Opiates in a warm nice environment where you are chilling out alone in your own headspace is lovely, you will really feel and notice them. Contrast that to walking along in the rain concentrating on something or talking to someone and not focusing on how you feel as much.

When the sun is shining & im driving (dont need any music) it seems that it hits harder for me. I love sitting at the beach & just watching people while im opilaxing............(LMAO, I just made that word up)

I must say I do rather like amphetamine & cannabis in the park on a hot day with a few mates, it's just lovely, fantastically better than inside during the winter. Environmental factors play a strong role in determining your mood

Well when it's nice out you don't have to deal with the cold temperature which seems to take away from the high. Maybe it has something to do with your body having to exert more energy to stay warm when it is cold out, so the energy being used to maintain homeostasis may be taking away from the high.

Also, you are in a generally better mood when it is nice out, so it's easier to feel even better from drugs.

Definitely.. set & setting are so important and I just love summer.
There's one drug where weather is almost a need for good high for me, LSD. I never took it during winter and never will because the best thing to do is to walk or ride a bike in nature. Also I would hate just to have too much clothes on me while tripping :D

In highschool i remember a buddy use to crank the heat when we were tokin up in his car. He said the heat get/keeps you higher. Which i found to be true on some levels. Carefull tho. I have overheated while being too hight. very uncomforable
