Drugs in S. Korea?

Hey guys, I'm from Chicago originally but I'm living in S. Korea for the next several months. I noticed this is 'Australia & Asia' but it seems to all be Australian... I hope there are some azns representing.

Anyway, I'm looking for information on availability / variety of drugs here in Korea. I am particularly interested in heroin and other opiates, though I haven't decided whether I'm going to steer clear of them while I'm here or possibly seek them out.

Anyone with knowledge of drug use in other Asian countries please respond as well! I'm interested in comparing it to use in America.

I'm sorry iris acht but there's no availability discussion allowed. There's also no way for anyone here to comment on the strength/purity of non-pharmaceutical opiates you might get as it really comes down to your source and what's available at the time.

I'd also be very weary of taking any drugs in a foreign country without familiarising myself with the local laws first. The last thing you want is an unexpected death sentence (*cough* Singapore & Indonesia *cough*) for a crime that would be a trivial misdemeanor back home.

I'm going to close this thread for now. If anyone has anything of value to add please PM me and I'll either re-open the thread or edit it into my post.
