Makes me kinda glad my PS3 died! Playing Portal (thanks for reminding me Pagey) on Linux here, for £6 :D And it's immediately more engrossing, even if it's nowhere near as big and flash. Just need to get my eBay seller account dusted off.
 
This is going to sound really hypocritical after i had a go at ptch over playing ps3 games but a mate of mine is on his way over to my apartment in a taxi with his ps3 and a copy of GTA V i wanted to see what all the fuss is about.
i had gta 1 for the pc when it came out where it wasnt 3D but was a top down view and it was alright. Played a bit of gta 3 a few years ago on the pc but never got 4.

You dodged a bullet not getting 4 imo. I had it but couldn't get into it, to be honest my favourite part was havin a spliff and then getting the taxis to take me all over the joint.

Loved the top down ones though; remember getting GTA 1 on a demo CD with the Official UK PS mag back int day and just playing it over and over and over once the ten mins had run out. Need to go rob my Dad's copy of GTA London and that, though I thiiiiiink they're on Rockstar's website for free, or they used to be.

Yeah gta 1 was primitive by todays standards but great fun there was nothing like it before.
i only played a small bit of gta 4 in a mates gaff i remember u cud ring u a cousin go out and get shit faced then get back into the car and weave all over the road till the drink wore off lol.
anyway pals 5 mins away got sum nice stimulants gonna put my gaff in lockdown mode and get stuck into gta v

Got to say San Andreas multiplayer is my favourite GTA/general gaming experience. Used to play it round my mate's on his big telly phetted up to fuck and there's one of us diving off a cliff on a motorbike and the other shooting away at cunts or some shit.

Oh god I love that game, got it on PS3, gonna get playing it til I can afford GTA V
 
Starte playing as trevor last night. lol that guy is a proper nutter. dont think i should have bought the airfield for 150k, piss poor returns on the trips

+3 spent all money but mikeys before i riazlied i could double it on each stock market mission :( Can't wait for multiplayer!
 
I started playing GTA V about 12 hours ago with my mate and i still cant put the controller down yeah think i like it alright
Its addictive the stims are helping i think need a break
 
Finsihed it this morning, not 100% just thee story like. Good story i think, and finished it so fast mainly to the phet last night and not slept

What do folk think about having autoaim in the online game. I always switch it off as it makes the game more difficult and requires skill. I do hope they switch auto aim off for online play or it's going to ruin it for me.
 
Love the way the stories intertwine, the game is a lot better than i thought it was gonna be. i shouldnt have bought that fuckin airfield though
