Drugs & Gaming

I vaguely recall this being the case. Got a copy of W7 knocking about but not sure if it'd be worth it or if it'd just be annoyingly slow. Got an old copy of XP knocking about too but newer software/games doesn't always work on it anymore does it? Will see if I can get me head around Vista before making any changes though. Am not a Windows man so maybe it won't seem any more annoying than any of the other versions :D

Also, Vectorpark - strangeness in flashgame form.

Think im going to buy an xbox to play GTA when it comes out, cant be doing with having the graphics on low on my PC. GTA 4 on my PC was alright, could have it at medium-high settings but it always crashed and was buggy to fuck. I want to go FULL HD !
 
Ethanol and poker has cost me a good $ 20k , metyhlphendidate n poker cost me about 10k, drugs and pokef (other thsn weed) is not good!
 
i realize i live in the US but i had to come in and say i find nothing more boring and sexually repulsive than boymen who smoke weed and play video games as their entire and only hobby. it just. what the fuck. it just irks me. are you a fucking zombie? can i fist pound you into the floor until you're awake? i don't know.

Im sorry, the thread title read Drugs and Gaming, thats 2 hobbies right there. Im not sure we have a "gaming as your main and only hobby thread" but im sure we can make one, should we be outside instead practicing hand egg, or shooting some hoops.

You spelt realise wrong though, so unfortunately you don't have an opinion here.

I always found the combination of drugs and gaming (at least console and/or computer gaming) to be incredibly depressing. Its not that the drugs werent good enough - its just that I tend to do my drugs in social settings; in bars, parks, concerts and just outdoors and around people in general. If I'm to do them alone, then it's to be outdoors in a park or a large wooded area such as a forest or natural countryside.

I will upon the rare occasion smoke the odd bit of smack whilst browsing the net and listening to music, but thats generally just to get myself into the mood for head out elsewhere in short course...but drugs and gaming? Highly unappealing.

Vista when it was released was a state of face-palm affairs. After all the service packs, it runs acceptably, but you might as well be running W7 which is an entirely more coherent and slicker system (as far as Windows goes, and depending on your machine).

Whenever I play games it tends to be FPS PC... I remember taking BZP at uni LAN parties whilst the others wolfed down crates of Mountain Dew, and found it to be an adequate performance-longevity-enhancer :D Believe it or not, I came out of the affair less jittery than the caffeine fiends, and significantly happier. But I also used to play competitively, so drugs and games are mostly separated from each other in my mind, in the same way that an amateur sportsman tends not to smoke crack before the high jump.
 
Ahhh have become completely addicted to Age of Empires 2 once again. Got the new steam release last month as I was hoping the online community was going to be good. Bugs have pretty much been ironed out and it's begun to consume my life.
 
Haha yeah I've got rather a few of those as well. Can't be bothered to get into that game as it just means being way too hardcore to even get anywhere near decent.
 
just finished resident evil 6 its piss easy. I havent played the 3rd, 4th, or 5th I cleared the first two on the original playstation, fuck me the original games seemed like they were much harder, even the puzzles in the older games were tricky as fuck sometimes.
