Watched some other videos of the next gen console graphics and some games look great (ryse son of rome especially.) I don't know if I plan to buy one yet though.

^ That looks quality. My flatmate has a PS4 due to show up on Friday. He's already got Call of Duty sitting there but I've never been a fan. Tempted to get Battlefield, it's a far better game.

Damn straight it is. BF3 was amazing on the 360. Can't imagine what PS4 BF4 is gonna be like!

Battlefield is top, got 3 and 4 on PC. Stopped buying Call of Duty about 4 editions ago when they all came the same, Battlefields actually pretty realistic the maps are fucking huge. Like you can actually sit in some hilltop with your sniper and pick people off, like a proper sniper rather than running around some tiny map jumping around corners sniping people from close range etc.

Having a fully destructible world is fun too, every buildings walls can be ruined etc brought down by explosions makes it a lot more fun!

Plus something that isn't often mentioned is the sound in Battlefield, the sound effects are orgasmic.

War tapes on Bad Company, HD monitor and hifi system, drifting away on mxe...I miss those days so much sometimes...Really quite a special experience...transcends the normal gaming experience.

Used to do that as well with Bad Company 2 online was very immersive, could still play it well at times though other times just getting completely stuck in buildings forgetting what you were doing.

Does anyone have a PS Vita? Media Molecule's beautifully surreal new game, Tearaway, is well worth a look. Best use of motion and touch controls that I've seen in any game I've played too.

Tried playing BF3 on ket yesterday, found some of the ways I died hilarious :D

Was also more reckless in the jet although I think that was just because I didn't really notice the ground approaching at high speed until the very last minute. Got caught out by a few lampposts in the heli as well.
